  1. $150..... Any bidders.......?
  2. Ok, let's start at $200..... Any takers.....????
  3. Hi reefers I am selling a 16GB iPOD touch fully wrapped with protective film. Name your price. Best offer gets it........ Anyone interested.......? Thank you.
  4. Agreed.... should be copepods then since your corals are ok..
  5. It can be worms. There's these worms which only appear in tanks with high nitrates or PO4 and they sticks to glass. Can't exactly remember the name of the worms.
  6. Hi Anyone got chaeto for sale? In the west.
  7. Very true! Thanks for the advice peacemaker! First and foremost, not even sure if the coralline algae will grow... No sign yet....
  8. Hi all! Thanks for all the replies! My Mg level is at about 1300.... however its been a month n yet no growth detected..... From all the responses of the pros above, it seems that its not really that good to have coralline algae growing in the tank at all due to its fast growing nature..... thus making it quite equal or sort of same to the other unwanted algaes.... Will stop dosing purpleup then... sure dun wan them to be a pest in my tank! Thks all!!!
  9. Hi all!! A question to ask reefers and pros out there. How long does it take coralline algae to grow? I have been dosing PurpleUp for about a month now... Tank parameters: Cal - 480ppm Kh - about 11 degrees dKh Nitrate - about 0 Phosphate - about 0 Water temp - 25 to 26 degrees C
  10. Noted, so I guess test kits it will be for me!! Generally what test kits should I purchase? Nitrite, nitrate, pH, Calcium testers.......???? Thanks!!!
  11. Sorry, I should say canister filters instead of external filters....
  12. That's the problem with me... I don't check my water parameters. I only followed the instructions on the bottles of the supplements. Is it necessary since I do regular partial water changes? As I read somewhere before that as long as partial water changes are done regularly, water parameters should be ok. Also, are external filters ok for marine tanks? Thanks.
  13. Hi all, Hope someone can help. I have been a marine tank keeper for 2 years+ now. However never been as successful as some of you thus requires your help. I have a 3-ft tank, with MH lights, a chiller, a protein skimmer and using 2 external filters. I normally dose my tank with calcium, strontium, magnesium, iodide and trace elements. I also do regular partial water changes, at least once a month. However, I notice that my hardcorals (e.g bubble, hammer) can live at most to a period of 3 months and my softcorals (e.g. leather, star polyps) can live at most up to 9 months. For buttons its worst, at most its 1 or 2 months before it shrinks and dies. Worst of all I can't even get coralline algae to grow in my tank. Fishes are not a problem for me. I really do not want to keep on buying and killing these corals so does anyone know and can help with my problem? Really appreciate it! Thanks!!!
