  1. My clown fish ever infrected with ich. It doesn't eat and doesn't move around. I was so worried till I saw my coral beauty swim up to it and pushes the clown fish to move and split food in front of it.

Sometimes I wonder if my fishes and shrimp looks out for each others, cause I ever saw my clown feeds my shrimp <_<

  2. I am thinking of using the above to remove cyano from my tank, but need some advise from bro that use this before..

    1. How much should I add to a 2 X 1 x 1.5 ft tank?

    2. After adding how long should I off my skimmer?

    3. Should I off my canister too? If not should I remove the phosban and carbon media from my canister?

    4. Do I need to change the water from the tank after this process? How many percent?

    5. Is there any precaution I should take on my livestock during and after the dosing?

    Thanks

  3. yes it is possible. the secret is good water quality. high MG. sufficient calc and if possible blue spectrum lighting.

blue light helps. but blue light is not judged visually by looking. it depends on the color temperature. my MH shines white, but its a 20,000K bulb.

check out page 7 of the thread that documents the coraline growth.

Hi Bro can share your secret of good water quality? The equipment you are using? the dosing needed? Thanks.

  4. umm.. how non-swimmer is he/she??

    totally cant swim??

    scare of water??

i tink, to be able to dive, the basic is to be @ least able to swim 50m..

to me is @ least noes how to stay afloat la..

all dives normally are buddy pairs..

beginners normally stay close to/with instructors and masters somewhere nearby

its a very safe sports if u noe how..

You need to be able to swim at least 200 meter to learn diving. It's a safe sport as long as you obey the basic instruction. <_<

As it's a silence world down there.... you need to learn some basic diving sign language to communicate.

  5. Wants to improve the quality of my water. Right now am using biological media in my canister was thinking of adding some kind of chemical media.

Anyone using PÛRA PhosLock & PÛRA NitrateLock or any other silimar product?

How much should I add? And when should the media be change? :thanks:

  6. I have a flame and a golden angel in a soft and lps tank. They dont botther the corals.

I am experimenting with fingers, leather, buttons, and elephabt ear corals with my Earspot n Potterri, angels in the new FOWLR tank refugium. After about 3 weeks, so far no problems.

I had a Herald angel that was ok in the coral tank for a few months and then it started to nip at the corals. Had to remove it withy great difficulty in the end.

I mostly take pics of my angels in my quarantine tank (airstone) as once they get into the main tank, it is very difficult to photograph the shy fellows.

The centropyge angels that I have and dont have a good pic of to show are: a Potteri, a African Flameback, a Golden angel, a Eibl, a lemonpeel, a midnight angel.

I had a Multi bar angel from the philipines but it did not survive a week in the quarantine tank.

Please do post a photo of your golden angel. I love golden angel.
