moorish idol is not difficult to train on pellets if the specimen is healthy, it will start feeding on mysis and pellets. try opening up a la-la clam. it should entice it to eat. the problem with moorish idols is maintaining it long term in the aquarium because their main diet in the wild are sponges and other things that we cannot supplement in the tank.
so hope that it stays with you a long time!

Love my Genicanthus semifasciatus so much. Worth way more than it's paper value of $33. Not to mention it's rarer than a conspic angel nowadays. Absolutely happy with it!

my female Genicanthus semifasciatus has improved in health GREATLY. very surprised even for myself. fins all healed, mouth has healed, shipping stress and damage subsided to almost nothing and is eating VERY well!

Kenya tree boom! Now I'm a proud father of mini kenya tree corals.

male is too rare to even mention! not to mention even more difficult than the female!
i;ve never seen the male for sale in LFS before! but they got bring i la. ML and Ah beng bring in before years ago!
anyway the male semifasciatus is very hard to maintain. almost always they revert back to female. if they survive...
