  1. I rem there was some confusion by a reefer b4 on this bluestriped fangblenny (Plagiotremus rhinorhynchos). Think its best to trap it out and return to the LFS u got from. LFS need to be inform and stop bringing them in. For more info, read this blog. http://notexactlyrocketscience.files.wordp...07/11/teeth.jpg

Reefers beware of fishes w/mouth at the bottom (features like a shark),esp.cleaner wrasse,it mimics a cleaner but will bite chunks of flesh from weary fish.A true cleaner has its mouth pointing forward,a falsh cleaner has it at the bottom.Had a bad experience b4.

  2. Ok thanks for the tip peter.

At night when it opens the tentacles are short and stumpy unlike the other Rhizo that i have her tentacles are very normal. I think i must stuffed the poor chap when i gave a slightly large prawn and the next morning i saw slime around the mouth area.

Oh dear there hope it will recover!! :paiseh:

Dun think u r overfeeding ur rizho.I feed mine almost everyday with huge chunk of clam or prawn and it opens up well afterward.

  4. Hi, my fishes keep disappearing...dunno whether still alive or not? firegoby used to come out during feeding but havent seen it for 3 days...blue tang was eating well yesterday but today also gone missing...wondering whether still alive??

My yellow tang also went missing last time and i found it hiding behind the rocks (at a gap between the rock and my tank's wall), its tail and fin was torn and doesn't looks heathly.

This time I suspect my blue tang is also hiding there or already dead. Are all the fishes that sick or dying always went hiding and preparing to die in the secluded area?

I am thinking to buy some coral chips to fill out the gap between the rocks and tank's wall so that the fish can't hide and die inside? I am still puzzling why the fish which is still feeding and looks heathly (althought got a bit of white spot) gone missing suddenly? could it be some worm hiding inside my tank and attack the fish at night?

Anyone who has the experience? Can share? :thanks:

hi enseng,i've this same problem once(flame angel, rockbeauty gone 4 no reason).Search ur rock crevices, cos i found out there is a big harry crab dat eat my fishes in the night.

  6. i doubt your friend is a real "EXOTIC" Anemone collector at all...

if he really was, then he would have known that this are Pseudocorynactis sp. and not what was claimed...

    they fall under Corallimorpharia family....

    Anemone falls under Anthozoa.....

Oops! sorry to interrup. Anyway i'll coined it myself "Mushroom Anemone" :eyebrow::eyebrow::eyebrow: Well it looks exotic to me.

By the way ""WATS THE REQUIREMENT...ment....ment"' HEHE I hope dats cools down everything.
