Why? Although the t5 fixture has excellent reflector and a much better bulb, it's only 2x24watts.....compared to the 72 watts of compact flourescent. I know watts is not equilavent to the intensity of light but 72 watts is 1.5 times 48 watts.....is the reflector really that reflective?

i'm not selling the livestock individually neither is there a built in sump. but that doesnt matter, i gave it to a relative who's a hobbyist.

oh and i forgot to add in that the pump is almost new,less than a week old

Hi, im downgrading my tank to an iq3 so im selling my tank(60x23x25), My dymax fan(w8)(good enough to lower the temp to 27degrees celcius) An atman pump(1300 l per hour) Sufficient arragonite sand to lay this aquarium(an inch deep) livestock. a green and purple brain coral a zoanthid, brown(orange under flourescent light),green (with a white ring) a leather coral a shrunken anemone. please note that the brain coral is damaged, part of the skeleton is exposed but it is still healthy and inflates starting AT 70 dollars. for more info on meeting... price is negoitatable. please pm me. i'll add photos later, maybe tmr or friday.

MY hydor korallia 1 circulation pump suddenly stop working after a power trip. I tried dismantaling and assembling it but it still doesnt work? Does anyone knows whats wrong with it? Is the impeller spoiled? Or must i get a replacement. thx

and to add on,the starfish seems fine and it's recovering extremely fast.My tank parameters are almost perfect

No nitrate,no ammonia,no bad stuff.Maybe bad acclimation...... unlikely. I'll try to get a pic asap.Now it's worst,another leg is falling off.

Yesterday night,i returned home n found that one of the legs of my starfish losely attached to my starfish.Then i picked up the starfish and the leg fell off and i could see the flesh of the starfish.Is it reproducing or what? anyway today the wound is nearly healed,i'll probably heal in a day or to but it heals really quickly. Anyone knows Why my starfish dropped its leg??????????????????

thanks for the help but now my skimmer is producing liquid waste.Yeah there are much more bubbles now and its better. I must admit,the design of the skimmer is quite nice,i will try to get a picture

yeah but water just leaks out of the air tube,makinig it worse. Now there are slightly morebut still insufficient.There aren't any foam at the collection cup so i dun think it's good

uhhhh,anyone has any advice on this skimmer cuz there is hardly any bubble.The bubbles are small but they are only found on the top of the chamber and it isnt skimmin out anything when i left it overnight,can anyone help????I bought it from nature aquarium,i'm currently using it with a 600l/h pump

actually seagel IS useful.When i was using it, therI know this is contraditing my earliee was no red slime algae,now there is since i stopped usin it reply. but there wasn't any red slime when i posted it.unless there are other easons,i think seagel is useful,i haven't tried the rest though

i blue light and ready made.should be able to keep acros.Nature aquarium sells the aquazonic led clip on lamp.im thinking of getting two of the biggest one
