Hi Bros, I'm thinking of converting one of my planted tanks( 6.5 feet x 2.5 feet x 2.5 feet) into a reef setup. Tank is 12mm thick all round. I'm thinking of having a DSB and would like to eventually go into SPS eventually. Have the following queries (apologies if it sounds stupid.) a) Is 12mm thickness good enuff for a reef setup? What is the recommended size of the sand for the DSB? #O for the 1st 3 inches and #4 for the last inch? How many bags and @ what cost? I'm trying to do a cost estimate on this. c) I intend to have an overflow box and was wondering if there was any good recommendation on what to get and at what cost. Thanks in Advance.
