      btw, hydrophobic (hates to be in water) and hydrophilic (likes being in water).

      for example oil are hydrophobic so u can see oil being separated with water when both are added together.

      and surface tension of the elements in question plays a part too.

      you guys roughly gets the idea.

      All the various articles I read do suggest that wet skim would remove more elements in the water.

      Initially my intention was to dry skim so as to allow more trace elements to remain in the water column for a longer period of time.

      After reading an article on Organic-trace-element combination I do think its pretty pointless to find out the specifics of each elements. Its a chain reaction and would be too complicated to quantify. The Hydrophobicity would be in constant ch...
