hmm... okay thank you so much for the advice peeps.. because its just a 2ft how big should get if im going for a sump? but then i do not think i got the space to add a sump below my stands.. cause i got the canister alr... >< i was told that for canister i change the cotton, carbon(if have), and the taking away of nitrate those stones. the rings i dun touch it at all right?

guys im running a 2ft tank with a hangover filter connected to undergravel & protin skimmer. but recently my filter that link to the undergravel spoiled and i replace it with a canister with 5 layer of tray which able to contain 1500L. i was planning to run the canister for 1month plus and then change my whole tank setup to sandbed and tank away all the undergravel. i know what things are needed to be done when changing all these but is canister alone enough to filter the tank? or should i get a sum or hangover filter also?

ok thanks guys... its starting to eat the star alr.. how do i see whether the star fish starts to rot? because when the shrimp eat the star the part it bites always looks like its rotting... hahas XD

this starting to eat the blue star alr but not much.. like taking a quick bite only.. LOL ><

guys i have an orchid shrimp that is in my tank for months alr.. everytime i put sand star in, it will rush to the starfish.. but ytd i bought a star fish which is blue in colour and i heard from the shop owner say orchid also eat that star but when i put in the star the orchid did not even bother to go over. and also recently my shrimp also like to run around the tank unlike previously it only stay at one small area and never leave that place.. can anyone tell me whats happening to my shrimp? hahas how to make it eat again?

what is HOB? im not drilling it... most likely is pump water out then in again with a pipe maybe..

hi guys, im now having a 2 feet tank. everything is stable now running on 1 protin skimmer (weipro 2011) i think is this model but i know the one i get is enough for 2 ft alr, undergravel filter connected to a hangover filter. so im thinking of adding a sum tank so can anyone give me advice should i do a sum tank for just a 2ft tank? another doubt would be if i run a sum tank, if there is a power shortage in the house would the sum tank cause any flooding as there is no power to power the pumps?
