  1. bo lar...containment is like a tank...but the 5 sides are made of very fine net... it can be mounted inside your main tank by means of suction cup near the top of your tank:phone: hence your fries will not escape outside

pai seh pai seh, I very sua koo :paiseh::D

Luckily never laugh at u. :P:pinch::sick:

First, help me solve the problem of how to catch the fish. :thanks:

  2. Your tank looks good for hatching your cardinal.

    Chris,

Few problems. First, how to catch it? fish trap is not going to work as the fish is not eating anymore. Secondly, I am suppose to transfer the fauna & flora to my new sump when it is ready(in about a week's time). Even if I can catch it with a net, which is quite impossible, I'm not sure if it will still hold on to the eggs in its mouth.

    Dodo,

I suppose 'containment' is container. Thanks, but without any filtration system, what's the chance of survival? :thanks:

  3. While I was feeding my fishes last night, I realised one of my cardinal fish wasn't eating, that's unusual cos it always chases BS like hell. On closer observation, I saw something that looks like eggs inside its mouth.

Want to know from the pros if there's any chance of raising the young? :thanks:

  4. and it is selling at incredible high price locally & overseas :cry2: surely, there is some benefits :peace:

I m using UV steriliser since day 1, so dont know whether is effective or not, but my friend told his water become crystal clear after using UV for his planted tank. :peace:

  5. Lastest update... good news, at last.

Magnesium level now at 1250...after 2n2/3 packets of epsom salt in 3 days. One thing to note for those who want to use epsom salt, it will increase saltnilty, need to adjust accordingly.

Calcium at 400... daily dosing of kalkwasser (1 litre each day) and 2 x 3 teaspoons of tubo calcium.

The only smaller problem now is ph(8.1 to 8.2) n alk(8 to 9), it seems to me that it is quite difficult to increase their levels by using seachem reef buffer, added 3 x 3 teaspoons so far but failed to see result. Is there anything more effective than seachem reef buffer?

Overall, happy with the result, wish to thank Tanzy for pointing out low magnesium, also Morgan for the article on epsom salt and all the good advices from others
