yo, went to hardward shop recently and saw a helogen light that look similar to MH light. was wondering if anyone has used it to subsittude MH light. never actually see the light being turn on...dunno how bright is it!! but helogen light is surely cheaper then MH light.

wow...used tang as water indicator??? i tot tang suppose to be quite hardy?? and quite ex too... my nitrate is still sky high.....but my fish and coral still looks fine to me. prepare two big pack of NSW..just in case, if anything goes wrong

my coral is "open" up as usual....and my fish still swim around. it only that one of my tang die today....but if nitrate is high ..all fish should be affected rite?? think i will need to test it again.. Thanks

using sera nitrate test kit show it is about 400mg/l ( red color).

Hi, Bought about 5 snail over the weekend coz i have lots of algae on the side of my tank. after putting them in...they did their job and i was happy abt it. however i notice that my sand bed is full of their shit. question: how do i clear them (shit ) away? will the shit pollute the tank?
