Hmm, cycle ended and added in some LS. New problem come out...now with hair algae....using Phosphate Reactor to control it now....so much to learn abt this hobby....keeping me challenged...haha

Nothing much to update except that also facing with Hair Algae problem.....what I did so far.... 1. Bought some algae cleaning crews 2. Plucking out the hair algae to prevent further growth....just cant imagine that it is so difficult to pluck them... 3. Bought Phosphate media to bring down the phosphate... Any other ideas?

You will get brown algae when you cycle your tank. You may need to check your phosphate level, if high, hair algae may come out. Just my experience since setting up my tank 3 weeks ago. Cheers.
