  1. Can use this. Available in 4.5" / 6.5". Visit our website to find out more.
  2. TS 24 consists of 2 Turbelle ® stream 6100 and 1 Multicontroller 7094. TS 12 consists of 1 Turbelle ® stream 6100 and 1 Single Controller 7091. The type of controller to get depends on the number of stream pumps that you want to control eventually. You can get 1 Turbelle ® stream 6100 and 1 Multicontroller 7094 first and add more controllable pumps later.
  3. We sell the SCWD as well. Reef Depot
  4. Must clarify that the number of IceProbes needed really depends on your tank volume, temp you want to achieve and ambient temp. I find that the chart on this page is quite accurate.
  5. 1 IceProbe is enought for a 2 footer. 2 is an overkill
  6. We are an online retailer. So, there is no showroom Quite a number of people in in SRC have used it. So far, I have not heard any complaints, especially for a small tank like 2 ft.
  7. The IceProbe chiller is specially designed for small tanks, like a 2 ft tank. The cooling power depends on the volume of water. You can read more about the chiller from the manufacturer's webpage (http://www.coolworksinc.com) The difference between IceProbe and tradition chiller is that is uses Peltier technology to cool liquid, ie there is no compressor. You can visit our website to find out more about pricing. I can give a 5% dicount if I get a bulk order of 3 or more units.
  8. It may seem easy to DIY an IceProbe, but not many people have succeeded. Do a search at Nano Reef to see for yourself, particularly this thread. In the end, most nano reefers ended up buying the IceProbe because of the risk involved.
  9. An alternative is the Iceprobe Aquarium Chiller. We are selling them. Please visit our website for pricing. For more information on the product, checkout the manufacturer's website.
  10. PMed you. You can checkout the prices at our website as well (http://www.reefdepot.com.sg). To be launched this weekend.
  11. Sorry. I was refering to a SRC member.
  12. Beats me. Well, with the help of X-Japan, I can safely confirm that the new version CV bulbs can fit your mogul socket.
  13. Good to hear some genuine feedback about CV bulbs. There are more reefers out there who have used CV bulbs (150W 10KK DE, 150W 20KK DE, 250W 10KK SE, 250W 15KK SE) for about 2 weeks now. Majority of them switched from other MH brands to CV. It would be good if they can share their experience, notwithstanding that 2 weeks may still not be sufficient time if proper acclimatisation to new lighting is done. Or whenever they are ready and more comfortable to do so. To sideline a bit. There should be more “pioneers” of CV bulbs. But, it is not the case because the current version of CV SE bulbs cannot fit into the mogul sockets of some reefers, primarily because they are using E-39 socket. I have highlighted the issue to the manufacturer and he has agreed to solve the problem, starting from the next shipment.
  14. I had the opportunity to see all DE and SE bulbs in action. My personal visual assessment of the different bulbs: (1) 10KK DE is bluer than 10KK SE. (2) Not too sure about this, but I feel that 15KK SE is bluer 20KK DE. (3) 20KK SE is the bluest of them all and closest to Radium. (4) In terms of blueness, the difference between 20KK DE and 10KK DE is not very great, but still noticeable. Regarding the MV ballast, the manufacturer had not tested CV bulbs with it. Hence, he does not recommend it. If reeflobang's Victron ballast is indeed MV type, then there is a possibility that the configuration works. Perhaps, reeflobang can post his review on the performance of the bulb after a few months.
