  1. I'm distilling my tab water at the moment running on easy 1 canister filter, sort of. Inside that canister there's sediment filter, carbon pellets, DI Resin. But somehow my TDS rose instead of dropping. Tap water TDS was 2.25 ppm, after a few hours it was 2.47ppm, now its 2.70ppm.. Is this normal or abnormal? I did not add anything in there.

  2. Actually got 1 method also. Take out all corals put in your sump. Leave 1 in the betta box. Test and proven by me. Need some patience and this method may need some time before the fish will swim into the box. Light method is the fastest for me. Usually for me to trap my fish to sell to reefer, i use these 2 methods.

Can u emphasis me more on the light method

  3. sad to say. i removed everything... take it as a chance to rescape. >_<

That will be trouble some. Rescape = detritus flying around = ich outbreak + I have a high tank, its really troublesome.

Use light out method. Proven and tested by me.

Can you teach me how? Becoz During light out, the fish will go into hiding.

  4. Anyone have any ideas on how to catch a Singapore Angel? It's been nipping on my Elegance, Zoas, plate coral and current victim, bubble coral.. Tried to borrow fish trap, feels like its hopeless as the fish doesn't eats pallets or mysis. Its main source of food is Corals. Anyone who does fish removal service or a pro at removing the fish?

  5. Sorry for the lost bro. Tangs has limited chance of survival especially when water parameters which are not yet stable. Its a win or lose situation. By Chance maybe it will survive. To be frank, when i started to upgrade to my 400L tank, I didn't really cycle my tank. I think I only cycle my tank for 5 days (Salt Mix) as Hari Raya was coming and I can't have equipment and tank laying around. By chance my LS survive the last min transfer till now. No Tangs tho. There was no Skimmer, no lightings, no reactor. Added LS before fully commission

  6. Try using soft tubing to reach and suck out the dead anemone. If really can't reach, better transfer your LS to a temporary tank. Ammonia will likely spike.

Can't reach, not visible at all. Does temp tank cause more issue? coz temp tank needs to cycle + fishes are not easy to catch.

If you can direct strong flow to it, it will detach itself from the rocks, hopefully floating someplace where you can net whatever pieces left over.

currently having a direct flow onto rock scape hoping the the particles will suspend n drop into my overflow to be filtered out.

  7. Bros, my huge anemone died and its unreachable. Thanks for it to go under my rock scape. Its totally unreachable for removal. Now my tank has alot of melted anemone flowing. Skimmer foaming up like crazy. Already did 25% water change. Change of Activate carbon to help me remove some toxins. No LS dead at this point. Anybody can tell me what do to? I wonder if "It's Clear" dosing will help? Dosing Brodibio digest?
