  1. Have been poisoning myself with the so many TOTM tanks that I finally decided to take the plunge. Knowing that this hobby requires patience, I will post my progress to constantly remind myself of that and not to fall into the "new reefer syndrome" so here goes....

Thanks to dan and Ken for their "reckcommendations" :)

  2. Hahaha I like the jumbo pink anemone at lck but too big to put because when open is 3ft big. So I wonder if carpet anemone can be frag.

Bro, refer to this link. can frag..

    http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=921143

But need to be careful on the slime it produces after fragging.

In the link, the fragger lost fishes.

For my case, there wasn't much slime and i left it for a while before putting it in the beta box in my DT.

Just note to use a sharp knife and cut fast, cut middle of mouth and middle of foot.

  3. Just realized my tank is already 1 year old. Recently had a mini crash I think, didn't know what happened. Suddenly some of my favorite zoas melted and my bird nest lost it's colour. I'm thinking my NO3 shot up as I didnt change water as frequent. My biopellet was stuck for months and I didnt have time to rectify. Return pump and chiller spoiled. Burnt a big hole in my pocket. I was super busy due to my family's new addition :yahoo: but it's all worth it! Well I am still enjoying this hobby. Hope I can upgrade a bigger tank in future.... but that will depends if I am moving to a bigger place :) Huat ah!! :groupwavereversed: Current FTS:y2a2ujum.jpg 1 year ago FTS:
Nice tank bro. Can hang out next time :)
  4. We have gotten 2 anenome just for our 3 clown fishes (have to sell 3 Gonis sobz)

One of the anenome has been in the same position since Sunday when we first introduce to the tank.

BUT the much bigger anenome is moving everywhere and knocking over all the corals and rocks. yesterday it moved to the wave maker and had a little of itself blended away by the wave make.

We have constructed a arcylic shield but again no use as it moves all over the tank at night again. This morning for temperory solution we use a plastic contain to prison the guy of coz with breathing gaps.

Any1 can help pls coz this fellow is creating chaos in the tank.

Anemone will usually look for a conducive environment and stay there.

Mine was attracted to highlight and high flow, after finding that position, it was there 6 months.

Maybe you could goggle some info about your anemone and that might give you some idea.

    My $0.02
