Nice tank. You using AI led? Maybe can show your sump piece.
yup, using 2 vega. will take pic and post later.

very clean and sleek bro. Lots of swimming space for your fish.
thanks, a pleasure to watch during feeding when all accumulates at that space.

My tank parameters,

Ammonia 0
No3 0
KH 8.6
Mg 1200
Calcium 400
PO4 0.03
Ph 8.2
10 March
Ammonia 0
No3 0
KH 6.1 (Tested 3 times w Salifert)
Mg 1140
Calcium 420

My chiller gives out a loud "thud" when the compressor stops.
Other than that, operation is as normal.
Anyone has the same issue?

Yup, did that late last night. My YT and PT now "tail fighting"...Ehh I just feed pellet. It was separated from my main tank at first. But pple tell me dun stress it further. So I just throw into main tank. -
Oh, I also feed a lot of New Life Spectrum Thera A With Extra Garlic.
I am also feeding this. Will release my PT into tank to monitor. Thanks.

maybe you can soak fish food with Seachem Reef plus supplement
this one: http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/ReefPlus.html
Thanks

My PT alsoike that at first. Super worries. But I just like it be. Coz it's still feeding and active. Now all patches cleared up. Color coming back
Mine is feeding n active too, so would it be safe to put it into the main tank?
-
Is this HLLE? If yes, vitamins/amino acid will help.
What would u recommend? I am feeding brine shrimp, seaweed, garlic pellets ...

PT has gone thru para guard n cupramine.
Has been in QT for last 2 months, 3 weeks monitoring, 3 weeks treatment, 2 weeks monitoring.
Fish has patches on body and face. Eating well and quite active. Fins and eyes looks ok.
Is it safe to release to main tank. Think stress is contributing as QT tank is small.
Advice appreciated.

Why didn't think of that...silly me...
getting really confused...
Followed vtec advice, 5ml of ro water, dose 5 drops cupramine directly and test.
Result is dark green solution which is not within the color chart

Why didn't think of that...silly me...tEc" post="1088279" timestamp="1359472555"]Take a pail of saltwater and dose copper in it. See if u can get reading from your test kit. If still 0 then most likely your testkit is faulty -
No sand, rock, carbon. Guess i have to trust my API test kit.Remove the carbon during copper treatment. If not, the carbon will absorb the copper, Slowly increase the copper level by dosing a bit every days to prevent stress to the fish. It takes more dose, as it is absorbed by the sand and rock. Once reached the desired level, I suggest maintain this level for 14 days before decreasing slowly through water change. -
Did not dose since yesterday but measured 3rd time 0 for copper. Going to dose more and crossed my fingers.I'm using JBL copper testkit not sure how accurate but giving very consistent reading every time ... If u have LR , sand , bioring etc will adsorb copper and need dose atleast 2x or more from the instruction from Seachem cuppramine to reach 0.45mg from JBL testkit reading ... from my observation under copper treatment , the whitespot still appear on fish body and when the whitespot go off will come back 2nd time about 7~10 days if the copper level at 0.2~0.3mg but will not come back at the 3rd time so assume ich life cycle is 7~10 days under 27C ... if 0.45mg that will not come back 2nd time ... Tested Morish Idol can not survive more than 0.2mg and multibar drawf angel too ... not sure how accurate JBL testkit but i use it as reference because salifert testkit not consistent and some time useless even b4 expiry ... -
Add the copper slowly over a few day of possible so as not to cause too much stress to your fish. Once the correct dose achieve, the white spot should be done on day 3 or 4. But I would maintain it for another 2 day to be sure.

Puzzled as my api copper test is still showing 0??
Does seachem cupramine contain copper?
Should i get another test kit?
thanks.

Added in cupramine according to instruction but copper test results shows 0. Added 20% more.Need some help, i bought a purple tang and qt for 3 weeks with no signs. Added 2 clowns and a mandarin as i was transferring tanks. Found some white spots appearing on my PT after so started paraguard. On the 3rd day, the pt starts developing more spots and couple of lateral lines across the body. PT is eating well but darts around. I have changed out 80% of water and added carbon yesterday. Is it safe to add in cupramine today? -

Got proxxon n the flexible shaft. at least can isolate tool from the debris generated. Doing a small boxed up with transparent book wrapper as a containment unit while fragging.
Bro, how much did u pay for the 3 items?
