  1. The problem with Anemone is not because it is difficult to keep but it is difficult to "keep it still". Anemones will move around searching for the best place to get food + light and sometimes, they might be suck into your filter and causes your tank to crash. However, I have some friends who "Wu Ta Wu Zhuang" still manage to heave them in they reef.
  2. Dear FuEl bro, I thought they are suppose to be schooling species? Never thought that they will be aggressive, care to share more? Thanks in advance.
  3. Next to Amoy Quee Camp. Cactus Road. They are one of the sponsor of this forum too.
  4. Bio-Oc##n. Got it last night only, I think there are some left. (about 10 can't remember liao).
  5. I have 3 firefish, last night added another 3 decorated (purple) firefish. They don't bother my horses, maybe because, they are added very much later than the horses (liao chiao). Even during my daily feeding, the horses are the ones that show the fishes who are the bosses in the tank!
  6. Dear bros & Sis, Like to take this opprotunity to thank Ghost and Astrobol for volunterring to immediately resize my image before I got into trouble. IMO this is the kind of members that everyone really apprecaite rather than those that just keen on posting as many reply as possible just to get their personal "grading" up. Thanks again.

  9. Thank you all. Me very bad at this kind of things anyway here are the rest re-sized.
  10. Dear all, Sorry for the long wait. Anyway, below are the chin chye taken shots as promised.
  11. Hi bro, I was the guy who spoke with you when you were getting your two adult evansi. You are nice and and you got "aeroplane"?! Anyway, wish I could help but I don't need at the moment. By the way, when are you going to post the pix? Cheers,
  12. Please note there is a word "most" in my earler sentence as you can see below. "FYI Cured LR means that most Nasties (Mantis shrimp, crab) has been remove thus you will not suffer from future "unknown" losses of live stocks. " I did not say that there "will not be any nasties". I rest my case.
  13. Dear Arcanehacker, With all due respect I beg to differ, cycled LR is NOT cured LR. I know there are lots of LFS that claim to cured their LR but in fact just throw the LR into a tank with filtration in order for the nasties will slowly die off - this is not considered as curing. Curing besides the above all means that we have to scrub the LR clean from all debris, in fact a perfectly cured LR will be white rather than having algae encrusting on it. During this process, all surface inhabitant will die off leaving only the beneficial bacterial hidden in the pores of the LR. Anyway, I was just expressing my views, I hope we can treat each others views and coments with all due respect rather than just cutting each other short.
  14. Hi Sunnymau, IMO the more the merrier. But ensure that you get the better qualty LR such as Fijii LR especially cured ones. FYI Cured LR means that most Nasties (Mantis shrimp, crab) has been remove thus you will not suffer from future "unknown" losses of live stocks. Hope this helps.
  15. Thanks bro, I think your thread is one of the most actively one in Members Tank & Specs. Congrats,
  16. Bro, your Alpheus randalli is it with red blotches? I am looking for one but most LFS Pistol shrimp are plain coloured one. So if your is reddish, can tell me where I can get? Thanks a million. :-)
  17. Hi Bro, Sorry about the situation you are in now. But could you provide more info so that the brothers here can help? Info such as: 1) Water Temp 2) Salinity 3) Nitrate & Nitrite level 4) Amonia level 5) Did you add anti-chlorine before mixing your marine salts 6) How was the water change perform Sincerely hoping to help,
  18. Hi Sunnymau, I believe your initial question is what is the HOT skimmer that is most value for money. And my recomendation is Aqua C Remora pro. However, I read that you already have a Prizm, my conviction is that since you already have it might as well use it and at the same time save up for a better one. Prizm is a decent skimmer, I have research about it previouly before and I also have a friend in US that uses it herewith is his comment: "Air tends to get trapped in the intake tube behind the flow adjustment dial. Don't get me wrong, the Prizm isn't a horrible skimmer for the price". Also Prizm is a product of a very reputable company (Red Sea) Besides, all of the above are just our opinions & experiences.
  19. Hi Sunnymau, If you have already bought the Prizm don't worry too much, it is still a decent skimmer (Trust me). Think about the days of our forefathers and you will know, in fact, my uncle is still using air driven Skimmer. Marine equipment is like all other daily stuff - there is always a better one out there. If I were you, I will still use my prizm but save up for a better one next time. Cheers,
  20. Hi Sunnymau, you can get a pix of AquaC remora pro from www.eaquanature.com, the owner of the site is Edmund, he is the official distributor on Aqua C. Looks like you are someone who apprciate quality. Cheers,
  21. Hi Bro, IMO the best HOT Skimmer money can buy is the Aqua C Remora Pro - Search the web and you will see the comments given! In Singapore you can get it from Edmund (EAN). I am currently using Seaclone but saving for the Aqua C Remora Pro (So Edmund if you see this, please remember to give me discount OK ) Beside the Aqua C, there is the Aqua Media Flotor & finally the most value for money one - Weipro. Hope this help. Cheers,
