Hi.Calcium is the important element (which i found out recently) and lighting must not be too bright.I'm using Coral Up and so far CA starts to flourish in my 2 footer.

Hi,i'm new to SW too.initially the algae was pretty bad till i got a uv steriliser,helps alot tou.not much glass cleaning require this days. -
Hi guys,kindda new to marine fish keeping.was wondering is it necessary to use live sand in a marine tank because i saw some fellow reefers using black sand which i believe its not live sand. Do enlighten me on this.Thanks guys.
