same same, my PBT eat my GSP when i reduced feeding
-
Yes and mysis too and pellet too
-
great patience and experience
-
they say its harmless, they say its scavengers,
so i leave it there first
-
Added Bio Pellet Reactor.
After two weeks, my nitrate level down from dark red to orange red. Probably still 20-40 high....
So I added Tunze 9004. I need to put inside my display tank... sigh it reduce my space for softies ;(
Initial issues I observed are micro bubbling coming from the outgoing flow. Some review say this micro bubbles will go away after 1-2 wks break-in period. I hope so...will see...

nice tank bro, your tank is not large enough to hold 2 more tangs. IMO, not even a tang or any tang. Maybe just a small yellow tang.
Noted bro

btw, any fish or shrimp shipment that can eat bristle worms?
-
I saw a lot of discussion about this bristle worm on this forum,
* some say need to take out, some say its ok as it scavenge uneaten foods,
* some say it eat anemone or fish, some say it does not disturb corals and fishes
Probably I saw one or two worms crawling under my LR but I find it troublesome to capture it.
Some recommends to flush it out but sacrificing bacteria although bacteria can come back few more weeks.
Maybe this is the time to rescape the tank, flush all worms and crabs, but it looks like starting from zero again.
Its my first reef tank and it pretty hard feeling to redo again.
It is worrisome for the fish and corals already in there.
So if you are me, what are you going to do?

I'm using seacheam. Think bought it 3 years ago and found it in my store recently and so use it.Initially was still thinking whether it will cause any harm to my tank since it has not been used for the past 3 years. And the result was positive so far... I think all brand the same..
how will I know the trace elements are helping btw? When dose by trace elements, does the colours come up like within 2 weeks or so?
-
oyster feast is a liquid (like syrup), I use to feed my SPS....for iodine dose better to follow the instruction from the maker..
what brand you using
-
