Does fish dieases affects corals?
Not really seen any cases of fish diseases affecting Corals unless it is the death of the fishes that causes Water quality to degrade.

haha.. no choice. Its more energy efficient this way.. the chiller is running on a 700+ltr tank. Can chill but runs in too long.

Hi bro as for equipments it depand on where you are but there are some good china brand equipments here too. but long story short you can get any thing you want via internet. but if you are going to be in guanzhou than it will be alot better than me as i am in Suzhou and there is only 1 lfs here and the next is in shanghai.

I had so much fun in China when I used to frequent there and was single then. Haizz now its like only yearly trip and got OC to keep me in check Probably the harder part is getting some reefing kakis.

Hi bro its true corals is really cheep here in china. got mose of my corals and sps not more than 150 RMB and mose of the big too like the pink hammer you see in my post it of a size of onw open hand. and it only cost 80 rmb = 16 sing, so if you are coming do give me a call 86-134-0508-0098. but fish will be X here
Its a trade off I guess. Corals seems to be damn cheap. So keep more Corals and less Fishes. Earliest I heading there is next year as my GF still has contractual obligations in SG. Not sure which city I will be heading to yet though. Her parents are keen to have her back close to them in China so I will head there is there are good opportunities.
How is the selection of equipments there? Do they have the more popular brands that we use in SG aka ATI, Deltec etc or we need to smuggle ourselves from SG?
Lets keep in touch in this forum and who know I may be there quicker than I expect. I do travel to China for business trips too.

Bro you sure u remember the right place? Another bro of mine bought the same PT (big one) at LCK110 at only 80. The smaller one is only going for 70. Wont want people to be mistaken.

Care to share how much this cost you in China? May be relocating up their in time to come so am curious. How readily available are Corals and LS in China? Saw on the web that some nice coloured SPS are really cheap in China too ie 50-100 RMB. Was wondering if its really true.

Once your shrimp molts again the feelers will be nice and long again. The shrimp should be fine. Maybe it wanted a new hair style?

Honestly should only go for Cleaner Wrasse that is already feeding as most would not survive captivity. Not sure if that would mean that they will be lazy in cleaning off our fishes off parasites
I do know that Henry from ML has pretty high success rate in getting these hard to feed creatures to feed on his reef gourmet.

Upgrading my tank to incorporate Sump. Hence looking at selling off my Ehiem Pro II (2Layer) canister filter. Good for 2-3FT tank.
Been using it with no issues for 2 years now and in good working condition. Its now still running in my tank.
Free 2 Layers full of Biohome etc.

Torn fins are usually fine so long as your mandrain are feeding. My mandrain gets torn fins once in a while as well.
The important thing is that it is still feeding happily

Yes it is true that some fishes can be more difficult than others. The key element is really getting it to eat. Fishes that eat have much higher chance of surviving in out tank. Do read up on fishes info b4 you buy them to be safe.
