  1. Hye to all yuma collector.. hope somebody can share their experience with this beauty. Ive been researching bout ricordea yuma for quite some time but most will recommend florida instead of yuma. Do u guys mind sharing your experiences with these species. Is it true that their mortality rate is high? I never own one but would love or maybe own a carpet of yumas one day.

  2. Quarantine tank is necessary bro.. but to be honest i dont have 1. And so far so good. Its not that i dont want to have 1 but its the space issue. My 4x2x2 tank inside my room that share with my bro. Limited working space especially during water changes. Back breaking man. Btw, quarantine tank size also depend on the livestocks size that u wanna get. The bigger the better. So parameter wont fluctuate so much. More stable. If me i go with 2 feet tank for quarantine. Again this is depending on your fish size.

  3. Butterfly r beautiful bro but the more harder to keep fish. U can be successful with butterfly bro. Make sure before u buy u observe them making sure they are heathy and eating n responsive. Still got no guarantee in the long run but u stand a better chance. Again i nver own a butterfly. I wish to own 1 but i cant cos of my yellow tang. He is the big bro in my tank now . Super fierce.

  4. Ic ic.... i am no expert about more than 1 pair of clowns cos never keep more than that. Maybe some experts can help cos im no expert. But from what ive studied. Clowns can be aggressive towards other clowns. Better chance if add them all at the same time and have tons of territories for them. But to add lots of fish at the same time wont be good also cos your tank still fresh.so sorry bro got not much to u. As for me i try to stock with different different coloured fish.

  5. Hye bro.. if me i will get 1 pair of clownfish since there r also other fish in your list. As u plan to keep butterflyfish n angels it will be hit n miss if u plan to keep coral. But most important plan your stocking list as in what fish to go in first cos some r aggressive some cannot mix, etc.. and stock super slowly to build enough beneficial bacteria in your system

  6. True... chaeto is the safest bet. Did tons of reading about it. Safest cos wont go assexual. But u need a big size of chaeto to remove small amount of nutrients.. but its still worth it..Not too sure bout mangrove though..

  7. Thats a beautiful tank u got there.. mine nowhere near yours bro.. salute to u.. after think n think n think i decided to go with maxspect celestial.. 2 unit first for the start cos only got fish n water. If i need more light just to satisfy my eyes can just add more unit. . to all bros above appreciate all your advises and tips. Have a good n prosperous day ahead.

  8. Hye bro.. i ever thought of the a350. That 1 more powerful than a150. Lagi best.. But i would need 2 of those bro for coverage. Actually i saw on youtube some1 using a350 single unit on a 100cm long tank. To me like not bad. But my tank 4 feet. Dunno can or not.. My tank nothing fancy bro. Water n fish only. Thats y i thought i want to buy a 150 x 2 piece. Everything simple. Matching with my simple tank.. bro btw u selling your a350 or only a suggestion? Just asking.

  9. Thanks bro for highlighting to me.i didnt know that. I thought many reefer use these lights.. hehe.. on nano or supplement for bigger tanks. Btw, I did contact eco city hydroponics and was told that i can pre order the lights. So i believe that these lights only available via pre order.since have to preorder not sure if im going this route or the maxpect celestial.since its programmable.should be better. But narrower coverage. I dont care much about progarammable cos my setup super super basic. Just want wide spread using lesser unit.

  10. Or any reefer might know or saw any lfs selling this light can let me know. Have been searching ups and downs..eco city hydroponics no more stock. Btw, have a prosperous day ahead. Sorry above wrong spelling.

  11. Since he is nibbling on the rocks.. its a good thing but not so good cos i think might not be sufficient in our enclosed area.hope for the best bro. Fun hobby but not fun when our fish dont eat. Most or some of us sure encounter this problem. Learnt my lesson before as a newbie but im lucky using the method i mentioned above it does work at least for me. There was once my fish eating greedily for months n suddenly stop eating overnight for no reason for a week. Cant bear to see the fish suffer i gave him to lfs. Im not trying to say u have to do the same bro. Its just me bro.

  12. I c....hopefully he will make it bro.. me too will get freaking worried. Hope he is nibbling something on your rocks at night to sustain himself before he take your food. As one of the reefer asked above , is he already eating in lfs?

  13. Although he doesnt eat, does he show any response to food flying around him bro. If he does u still got chance. As the reefer upstairs said variety is key. I ever crushed my pellet slightly so that become even smaller pieces to entice my fish to eat before. Just not too much and the smaller pieces must fall near him. I got no experience with kole tang. Only yellow tang. But 1 lfs owner told me b4 that kole tang ship poorly so important to buy fish that is already eating and healthy and stable. At least more than half the battle won.

  14. True.. try seaweed and tie it to a piece of small rock or sea shell and place it slowly to the area where your kole tang hang out. Hopefully he will eat bro. If he doesnt dont panic although a week without food to me is quite long. Hopefully no other fast and aggressive fish in the same tank. That might prevent him for fully acclimating from my experience although im still learning. What i did normally and with success is i feed more times than normal day and off 1 pump during feeding. Of course i watch my water quality. Hopefully it helps bro

  15. Hye bro.. i didnt know your parameters is but from most reefers will say is shrimp is sensitive to parameters. Could be nitrate too high or temperature too high although my shrimps do survive my high temperature before. Could be your acclimation process. Could be critters inside your rocks that killed him. Just my guess.sorry bro. My post got not much help to u.

  16. Flame hawkfish dont think will be good with shrimp.. some say they got success with them but since i got 2 fire shrimp and 2 skunk i dont want them to be eaten by flame hawk.. ever thought of trying my luck but dont want to be a murderer. If i dont have shrimp will DEFINITELY buy flame hawk. Maybe a pair.. sure swee but not sure csn keep pair or not.

  17. I am no expert here bro but i will definitely take him out to another tank but being careful not to stress other tankmates and of course be gentle to him. Cos as for me i got minimal rocks. Your tank may or may not be infected but at least minimise the spread if its been spreading to other mates which i hope not. From there i will seek advice from the experience reefers of treatment. Hopefully there are ways to cure the poor fish and also your tank if it is also infected
