found the problem.. salinity is 1.033 using a refractometer..

HAHA. using par 38 full blue with a white LED. not sure abt water para as i don't have test kits.. SG:1.025 (but measured using a hydrometer). 400L per h. No wavemaker/power head. did water change but no use

Thanks for the help bros! Nope I don't mix for a long time!!! Jus have to add salt in and there will be white precipitate. Not sure what is the problem:( any way to solve this problem? So is it okay for me to use distilled water from NTuc??

Hi Reefers, can I use dechlorinated tap water and mix it with sea salt for my marine tank? And why is it that whenever I mix the salt with water, there will be white precipitate that won't dissolve
