Got the the advice from ken (madpetz), tried and proven it works. Takes about 2 weeks to bring down nitrate to undetectable.

My tank abt 50g dose 1 cap mb7 and 1cap bio fuel everyday until nitrate is undetectable then switch to weekly. Must off skimmer for 4 hrs after dose.

I also have this problem. Looks like those branches are dying and being attack by algae. Sometimes brown stuff with small bubble right?

Blenny got from coral farm. Haven't seen it eating algae on sand. On rock yes but not all the time. I think my yellow tang eat more algae on rock

Tropic Marin pro is about 8dkh for salinity 1.025 . Considered quite low compare to other brand.

I check dkh, ca, mg, no3, po4 once a week. Nvr tested pH so far no problem

I dunno is it right anot.. but to my understanding it only break down ammonia before it turn to nitrate. so if ur tank is a mature tank, hydra will convert ur ammonia but ur existing nitrate will still be there unless u export it with wc, plant or run on zeovit ba.. unless it a new tank with zero nitrate, then the ammonia nv have a chance to turn nitrate and ur nitrate will always stay at zero..
Interesting. ...why didn't I thought of that. ? Lesson learned..don't anyhow throw away things too fast when it's not working
