Hi Bro, Just came across your threads on your endeavour with the clown frys. Congrats!! My pair of Ocellaris recently started spawning as well. The first batch I noticed was around 2 weeks ago. They were hatched and gone.... Today I noticed that another batch of eggs on my LR. Need some advise from you after reading your success. I read that it will take approx 1 week for them to hatch? How did you managed to catch them at the right time, and get them up before they are gone?

Hi, I haf one too in my tank, think its a hitch-hiker from the macro-algae i bought. I transfered it to the main tank, and its stuck tightly to the LR. Dunno wat to do wif it either, but looks like there no harm. I read a book and find that it looks a 'sand anemone', it cld be it.

Haha... i think so too, probably hung onto the macro-algae when i bought them. But i think they r harmless lah ... probably an anemone of some sort.

Yah, it moved from its original position .. I tot it is an anemone too, but where cld it haf come from.. I have no live stock in my tank now, only 2 shrimps, and 2 snails. And i have abt 40kg of LR in the main tank. It is abt 2cm in diameter... Jus curious how come it appeared in the sump.

Hi, Can anyone advise me on the lighting capacity for a refugium? My refugium is rather small, jus a compartment in my sump, roughly abt 1.5x0.5ft. I haf a button grape (Crasspies) and grape (Caulerpa Racemosa) in it. And the lighting i am using is a 11W PL white light. Is it sufficient? Thanks.

Hi, The algae will turn asexual when they die off rite? So, if i removed it fast enough after it dies off, will it prevent the nitrates and PO4 spike? And, does pruning it means simply plucking the algae stalks off, or are there some methods to do it? Thanks.

Hi, I haf been cycling my tank for abt 2 wks, and this is the ammonia test result. I have some problems interpreting it, can anyone help me with it? Does this shows 0 ppm? I haf test ammonia for abt 4-5 times, but i cant really tell the difference each time. So, i was tat this result shows 0 ppm, but wan to make sure. My NO2 is dropped from >2ppm to currently 0.5 ppm. Hi, I need some advice on the setup of a Weipro 2013 Skimmer. I have a Weipro 4000 pump for it. So how do i attached the U-tube to the pump? Has anyone used it before? Pls advice. And, how high shld the water level be if i submerge the skimmer in my sump. Is the water level high enough if the yellow sponge is covered? Thanks.
