  1. Hi guys, can you anyone recommend me what Chromis will eat if I want to buy from LFS dry food for them? flakes or small pellets? My last batch of chromis eat small pellets, but now this new batch don't eat small pellets, be it softened or hard... *Headache* Coz I'm feeding them with market prawns now still, and the after effect is algae started to outgrow on rocks and walls of tank... can anyone advise? Thank you in advance.
  2. This is how it looks like. It will bury itself under the sand and red hair protrudes out, seemingly like to catch leftover food in surface. It isn't bristle worms, as it don't have any spikes-like thorns on both sides.
  3. Thanks for the reply bro he. But the concern is how did they get so plenty? Think more than 20 I found on sand bed. What does it do? Are they clean up crew?
  4. Hi guys, anyone knows what's this? And if it harms? Bites? Sting? It hides itself near surface of sand and red hair protrudes out...

  9. Hi guys, I have a elegance coral which I just bought from Sealife over the weekend. Was thinking it could add more vibrant to my already 1yr old 4ft tank, but ended up my Flame angel nibbling on it and it's not extending in my tank. Anyone interested to take it over for $35? Sealife selling it at $65. My Address S(090103).
  10. Hi guys, some items to let go cheaply and some give aways: 1. Rainbow R300 nano tank : $38 It comes with a 5 tier tray which I had bacteria king to give away within(as seen in picture). Currently, it is kept in my 4 feet sump to keep bacterias alive. The pump is working, but I think it's too small in flow, so I add another filter to create some water flow. Free for the person who get the tank. 2. Timer x 2 : $10 (small one FOC) 3. Pipe connectors x2: $15 4. Eheim bender x2: $5 5. JVP wave maker : FOC (it gives off loud noise, not sure what problem, but I guess you can still use it to dissolve your salt mix.) 6. Fan: $5 7. Normal Led lights x2 (as in picture): $8 8. Grotech A, B & C(approxi.75% left) : $25 for all 3
  11. Anyone has updates on CF? Any new arrivals? Anyone knows where has Purple Tang?
  12. Hi bro, precisely! The first one I thought it might have been anemone too small for my clown fish. That's why after it had been hosted for about 1month it went totally micro small. The other two suffered same fate, but second anemone was bigger. Finally the last one I bought was largest! One big palm spread open also can't hold it all when I first bought at LFS. But all went small finally... I fed the anemone once a week with market prawn. The first one although is small now, it is still surviving in my 4 feet(1 hear old tank). I realized the anemone had dwelled well on one spot for weeks liao, but then shifted again and again recently... I'm suspecting it's the clown fish that is causing uncomfortness to the anemone... Any possibility?
  13. Does anyone have an anemone which is thriving and growing in captivation? I realized I had kept 3 anemones and until now, all started to shrink from large to medium to small, and ultra-small. Amazing shrinkages over 2 months... I fed them with bits of market prawn, first two ate, the last one do not eat at all. But in anyways, all 3 shrunk ultimately... However, in addition to the scenario, I have to say was my first anemone was fine, although smaller in size, it can open and extend to quite sizeable. however, once I added a maroon clown fish whom hosted the anemone... the drastic changes came... All anemones which was being hosted by it, totally shrunk so small.... Does anyone out there have a clown fish hosting its anemone and yet anemone still thriving and growing? Please teach me... thanks...
  14. Hi, anyone has some balance Rowaphos to let go? I went to LFS at the west, but very long liao, still no stock...
  15. Sorry guys for the late updates. The Anemone was collected last year. Last day of the year...
  16. The anemone is reserved for collection tomorrow. Thank you for your interest for those I didn't manage to reply. Have a great holidays ahead guys.
  17. Hi, I would like to give away this anemone as I had bought a new home for my clown fish. Interested party please PM me. To pick up at 090103 by tomorrow latest. Thanks.
  18. Hi bro consys, thanks for the advise. Sorry to reply late, as I just saw your reply. My problem has been resolved too! Thank goodness! Brother Leon taught me to switch my maxspect to blue lights at 60% only to reduce any more growth from the cyano bacterias(red slime). I noticed the growth becomes stagnant initially, and I guessed the rest was done great job by my algae scrubber. It took quite a while, to see the cyano bacterias reduced in a gradual manner. However this is a natural method, so I guess slow should be normal. Now, I dare not dose ABCM liao... Better to just keep to simple a weekly WC, to replenish standard minerals and trace elements. Will take a picture to post here once I confirm no more cyano regrowth!
