  1. Loving this system....able to ensure i can keep track of my system without having physically around... Will be installing Water Leak Detector in the days to come to help to ensure no major water leakage due to equipment failure... will look for float value to link it into breakout box...
  2. Did some water testing after a week No3 - Salifert - 5ppm No3 - RedSea - 4-8ppm Po4 - Hanna - 24ppb - 0.074ppm Cal - Salifert - 530ppm Mag - Salifert - 1480ppm dkh - Alkatronic - 8.25dkh
  3. This is PLA, and so far it is Doing well Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  4. Over the last few days I have noticed that my alkatronic was stable at 7plus then all of the sudden a drop... To 4dkh.. Did a run, and observed that the pump A tube is leaking air thus the volume taken in via the Perks tubing is below the usual volume of 50ml The tubing is original from the factory thus it is overdue for replacement... Change out the tubing and realised that the dkh of 9.1 is where my tank dkh is at... So I knw that my original setup dkh of my tank was the correct one.. so I think routine checks on equipment is important.. Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  5. This is a prototype, thus only one was printed to test out the sizing and concept... So I will print and add more to hold it steady Try it out and the light is already giving the tank a brighter overall feel... Thanks to RMS for the illumagic Vitamini.. the size and form factor is good Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  6. Added another light bar to my tank Diy a holder for the light bar Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  7. Using the 3d printer to print the supporting bracket to hold up the light arm as I have added additional stuff to a light arm which is meant for just one light fixture... Added it so that the arm will not have too much strain on the clamp for the light arm on the glass.. and also allow a more stable fixture... The wonders of an 3d printer... Is you can customise anything which u can design out... Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  8. was wondering why the ph of the cr does not drop even when the carbon doser is running... thanks to the apex who monitor and control my cr ph level... thus i run a line trace...and found the leakage point at the connection of the check valve.... redid my co2 line and all is fixed and well now... with my alkatronic monitoring my dkh.... i can control the duration and how the dkh jumps... so looking forward to getting a stable dkh tune in with alkatronic and apex running hand in hand...
  9. Just need to be on stand by to qt and also a cover for the tank... My AT jump out... First time hear lorh... So sad Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  10. Yes I added it after... But it was a hard week to go by... Haha had to try to ensure lesser fighting, manage to catch both the sailfin and sohal.. then let the maculiceps roam.. then sohal went back in.. it was world war 3... After a week... Things settled down... Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  11. actually the sailfin was long gone...gave it away.... i actually have another tang which is the Maculiceps Tang and it has been holding its ground most of the time...but still lost out time to time...and will see battle scar on the body.... so far both tangs have coped well with the change in system
  12. Abt 3 years.. it grow from a 3in to a 5in almost 6in now... A super aggressive fish... But it was in there to help tame a sailfin Tang which was super agressive... Haha since then.. can't add any other tangs Liao..can kiss AT bye bye Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  13. Had two floating magnet structure..which was created with some left over rocks and it is useful in creating more space and depth Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  14. Straight out of the camera shots.. didn't edited Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  15. Running my co2 solenoid via a Carbon Doser has been a easy plug and play and play around with setting and values system... Enabling me to fine-tune the amount of co2 going in and without any worries that over time I need to retune it... Many thanks to RMS for getting this for me not sure how they manage to get their hands on a limited few... Save me lots of time adjusting Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  16. Thinking of adding in a neck cleaner like what Leon has done... Hopefully can find a good one and a good fit... Or maybe 3d print one... Who knows Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  17. Running the clarisea has been a lifesaver to the tank and a space saver too... Able to ensure all the particles are removed without having to worry about changing out filter wool or filter socks (those r pain in the ass at times).. It has been running great and any problem I have had... RD has been a great support in many ways.. Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  18. So far running the nyos 160 after so long, it has been running great and I also run ozone with it... It has been skimming really dark skimmate out of it... Really smells but good for the system removal I am able to get almost 400 average orp on a daily basis... Which mostly translate into clear water... But just have to take note of the amount of ozone in the room and system cannot OD... Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  19. It has been almost 5 days since I have clean my tank wall with the h2o2 and I haven got to clean the wall surface since then... It is really a good experiment which I will use in future for tank maintenance Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  20. This alkatronic has been an important part of my tank setup... With it and apex.. it has help to control and ensure that the dkh is not out of swing... Right now I am trying to slowly reduce the swings... By fine-tuning the hours the co2 runs and I can safely say when the tank is stable... I roughly know how much dkh is consumed each day... So let's see how it goes from here... Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  21. Did water test yesterday No3 - 6ppm Po4 - 39ppb Mg -1200 Cal - 340 P - 380 Kh - 8.5dkh I just did a test yesterday and I notice that my mg and cal levels are low... Thus I manually dose in mg and cal. After dosing in cal and mg, I notice my kh drop from 8.5 to 7.8dkh.. I believe it is to be a balancing of the ionic particles.. So I will observe further and make changes if needed.. Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  22. Come look for me after the CB, I print for u a radion rms mounting Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
  23. Was worried that the RBM will stn and die after it was pushed off the rock and landed on the sand bed... But it recovered really well I buy a small 2 head torch coral after a long time after my old torch die off... Love the looks of the torch and will be looking forward to adding one or two more after CB ends... Sent from my HMA-L29 using Tapatalk
