  1. Before you try with Amazon, you can also check with Kinokuniya at the pets section and at zoology. You can ask them to order it for you too. Ask the cost. Bought Ultimate Marine Aquariums at quite an okay price from them. But paid slightly over S$100 for Aquarium Corals: Selection, Husbandry, and Natural History and Concientious Marine Aquarist. Was lazy to wait the few weeks for delivery.

  2. Hi guys.. don't mind me asking, where did you guys get your waterproof endcaps? Couldn't find 'em at some of those hardware & elctrical shops. Found them on the net but cost about US$3 and an additional US$5 for a stand-up kit. No mention for overseas orders though. Was thinking may have to find someone to do a special order and buy a big box/crate of it....

  3. I have heard somewhere of a ballast box which is connected to the lights. What is this box actually? Does it contain a single ballast or several which we can pick and choose to install. Also where can I find one?

  4. 4x2x2 same size as mine hehe.... go get it ordered and once ready lets raid the lfs hehehe... btw that royal gramma, had one in ur tank?

Yar.... Me waiting to get a quote. But most probably wait a few months to make sure on the set up. I had one is the word all right. Well not royal but Brazillian. Haven't seen a Royal Gramma yet. Nice fish. Anyway had the gramma last year. Was doing well until I shifted. It was just before CNY so didn't have time to check on the tank. By the time I came back, ICH! Damage done. COuldn't save so sad :cry2:

Bought another one a few months back but my tank eco started to crash. High PO4 and 700-800 reading on calcium. That's now looking at system with refuge and stuff. DOn't want to be a fish murderer any more.

  5. I think the cost is quite reasonable considering the workmanship and lacquering (workmanship) is good what tank size u looking at?

Yeah the cabinet needs to be covered up cause the condition for the set-up comes at a price !!! must integrate with TV console + shoe cabinet else my Minister of Finance will not let me do it

Ah yes, cannot upset Minister of Finance. Thank god I live in a dictatorship... Hmm.. is that right?

Most probably looking into a 4 x 2 x 2. Saving up for the damage... :nuke:

  6. Nice tank! Got a front view of it? Maybe a shot that shows all yor DIY stuff.

Guess if you got the time, the skills and the know-how to DIY, why not. Guys who first started marine reef keeping had to DIY all their stuff and had a better knowledge of how things work.

Though personally I won't try DIY stuff that in the event of a fault floods my floor! Cannot tahan the sticky floor. Hard to mop up!
