Rio 900gph pump should work fine for me? some reason its not pushing hard is it because i have 1 hose to (Y) to 2 hole with 4 head ? should i change it to 2 head and take off the other 2 to see if it pushing? because when i put my hand in the water i dont really feel any flow ?

Hello guys I have another question .... I have 4 hose behind my 120g tank 2 drain and 2 return, the 2 drain are 2 inch hole and the return are 3/4 hole on the return holes I have 2 head in both holes. I have a 2 pump with me and have try both of them but some reason I'm not getting flow .... Model rio 3100 and other one is 12b e160713 utility pump.... And using flex tube from Home Depot on the return side..... Need help why I not getting good flow or any good pressure

Dont have a picture of them but i just google them just now and yeah it look like them (bristleworms), and yes 4inch long or maybe longer and i have pull the big ones only because the small one are harder to get so that why i need to move all the live stock to the big tank but i need the big tank to cycle for a month or maybe more but dont want to add the old LR to the big tank because of the worms that living inside the rocks and they breed like crazy

Hey Lenny, when i first got the cheato from a different reefer and have put it in the back of my biocube after 2 month, i have check my back of my biocube and the display they breed alot of Pods and alot of small little green starfish brittle everywhere cover all my LR. The way i did it was have a 8 dollar LED light bulb from Homedepot and put it behind my biocube and leave it on for 6-8hours a day

how high should the salinity be to kill off the pest?

dose some bacterial..... like bio spira the one with the purple bottle?.. and for the worms there to many that breeding in the biocube and cover some of my LR already

Hello Everyone, I'm starting to go back to the hobby, i already have build my stand and about to build my sump for the new setup. I have a biocube 29g only have 4 fish in them for about a year and half. The new setup im going with is 120g tank with 20/30g sump.... My question is that i have about 50lb of rocks but sitting in the water (no water change) in a plastic bin for about a year, don't think it be live rock no more. I was thinking if i should buy a trash can to put the 50lb rock in there with a powerhead and do water change every 2 week with my old water from the biocube that i change every 2 week about 5g...... would this cycle process the rock to live rock faster? My other question is that my live rock i have in my biocube now about 25lb of LR i have unwanted animal like warms. Im think about take them all out and dry them outside for a week and then add it the trash can with the other rocks. Would that work? or there a product that they have to remove unwanted animal from the LR before i put them in the sun for a week? Thanks

Right now im building my sump and my stand my question is that this skimmer i have say Recommended water depth 5-8inches what that mean? is that mean put the skimmer and measure from the bottom to the water level to 5-8 inches? That how you measure the water depth.
