Just got hold of the antired by Aqua Medic, hoping to remove the red/brown algeas from my tank. Description of the product as below.... "antired will successfully eliminate red slime algae in salt water aquaria. antired is safe with invertebrates, is not harmful to nitrifying bacteria, and promotes the growth of higher algae. The protein skimmer must be running and carbon filtration discontinued during the treatment. Dead and dying algae must be removed mechanically." Anyone ever try out this product to remove algea, please advise. Thank.

I'm using the product but do not see much of the effect on my corels and fishes.

Dear all, Thank for the advises.....I manage to control the algea but yet to terminate all....by reducing the lighting and work on some of the advises posted here..... Now the LR looks terrible, all brown unlike others with purple and etc color...anyone can advise. Thank

The emperor size is estimated about 13cm ++ and my tank is quite filled with rocks....therefore very limited space for the fish....thank.
