It's normal for a beckett to have bubbles at the output. Either you can tie a filter bag at the output or put some sponge at the divider to the last chamber. Hope it helps.

Hmm... In a sense yes. Ehiem pump output is 'female' threaded. So you need a 'male' bulk head. Rio output is 'male' so you need a 'female' to screw in. Hope you understand what I mean

Some pumps are possible, provided they have a threaded head which you can buy a bulk head to screw in. Ehiem & Rio are able to do so. Just apply some white tape to the bulk head & screw in. It should be able to form air tight seal.
