HAHAHA yes TigerShark..this one doesn't look very friendly. But i don't think they're fiercer then triggers which are sold in common. They are pretty much nocturnal creatures like soldierfishes and squirrelfishes. They take most stuff that can fit into their mouth. Have you seen it in any LFS? Used to see it around but that was ages ago.

Do you use DI/RO to top up your water? I think Silica in the water might also contribute to diatom growth.

I think the Maxi jet 1200l/h is pretty good plus its alot smaller then alot of PH out there but it costs quite abit. I think it also doesn't generate as much heat compared to other PH of that power in the market.

Hi folks! good to find you guys in your little lions discussion den here. Haven't kept lions for awhile now, the last time was four years back when i had to give up my volitan and russelli to go abroad for studies. But recently had the chance to have an aquarium at home again! Just overhauled my old three feet tank and changed to a new three feet which runs a sump. Planning to have lions, stonies and other scorpaenidaes. Of course not forgetting Anglers! I did not know about SRC when i used to keep lions and boy am i glad to have found this place and likeminded aquarists like you! You will see me more often in your thread from now on bro Angry!
