I am using 1 ft FL light place < 1 inch from the bottle. Could it be the light is not strong enough ? Hope it does not crash if not gone with my $34....

Hi All, Need advise from the experts out there. I setup my Plankton culture station last Sunday (31 May). Brought the cultured disk $34 and fertilizer $16 from Reborn. After 4 days of bubbling and 16 hrs of light everyday, there is hardly any sign of Plankton multiplying. I prepared my culture medium using boiling water cooled for 24hrs and mix with salt at 1.02 What is wrong with it ? Thx a million
