    question on tank cycling

    hi fellow reefers, need some advise:

    i am cycling my tank with LR and 1pc of market prown, wif skimmer & pwrhead on;

    is it necessarry to turn on FR(running Rowa) and chiller during the cycling period? why?

    1 of newly bought LR is having some foul smell ever since pick up from LFS(but i really like this piece). what is the best way of getting away wif this smell? i am putting into my cycling tank with some other cured LR.

    is water salinity must it be always 1.022-1.023 during cycling process?

    seeking opinion from Resun FR1000 users

    hi, intend to get Resun FR FBF1000 but do not know which pump to go, any Resun FR user can give me some advise? (the brand/ model of the pump)

    1)which pump wld you reconmend for my 2ft nano tank (i am not running any sump).

    2)do you think can i go for FBF1000? or i shd go for only FBF500 (was thinking i can use it shd i upgrade my tank to a bigger one)
