  1. wow bro papaya your setup is quite something...your house something to wow about too.. With guidance from many experienced reefers you are in good hands. However some information posted have to be taken with a pitch of salt. Seniority is not equals to all mighty truth, some didn't even try out the local made before commenting. I thought i saw quite a number of posts about some senior reefer having problem with the BK skimmers and pump somewhere. Maybe i'm wrong. As for Deltecs there is something funny about this brand, since it is made in German how come there is not much / nothing mentioned in German sites? Just thinking out loud. Hope you enjoy this hobby and please let us know on the in house brand. Lets see if they are really that 'Bad' as commented. Regards Rod
  2. Hi, is there a drip valve at the effluent outlet?
  3. Hi, have you checked with the distributor? I think they can give you better information on the CR. Regards Rod
  4. The answer isn’t encouraging; think he is suggesting you purchase a new magnet to replace. So much for the rusty pumps , think i ll jus store them and get the good old Tunze since they also have the batt input function for power failure. Btw someone in the other forum suggests that a "little rust" isn't doing much harm to a reef tank and will continue using those rusting pumps until there is report on a crash, think that comment is out of proportion and it contains a hint of bias. It also suggests knowledge of the problem before my post but swept it under the carpet. Those are really some “Frank comments†from a Tank of the Month winner. Rod
  5. Hello Jervis, please accept my apologies. I posted because i thought it is important for you and reefers to know the 'problem' as it may cause alot of harm to our precious setup. Regards
  6. You may wanna check out your vortech before selling. I took it apart to maintain it after noticing a drastic drop in performance and to my dismay i found that there is corrosion and rust!!!!!!!
  7. Total Agreed, well said! I wonder who the inVINCible Man....HO HO HO HO .......
  8. Hi there, You seems to be very knowledgable and also very well connected. 9. Pardon me. But the website still state www.rowausa.com.
  10. Here is one. When someone hit you on the right dont hit him on the left. Instead, Hit him below the belt Rod
  11. Eh...if i'm not mistaken he is from D & D not Deltec..... Rod
  12. Horizonventures also have the external controller. You can contact them thru PM. Regards
  13. A year back! You really have patience. Rod
  14. I was going thru my PMs and found one reefer with the nick of Fxxxxxx suggesting another forum. I'm wondering did anyone else got this PM or was it an exclusive one. Rod
  15. I havv a little bit of input. 1.a _ _ _ _ _ _ z ? aka i_ _ _ _ z 2. V _ _ d _ _ _ ? 3. j _ _ For the serial no 1, i do suspect he have another nick besides the two mentioned above. And this serial no.1 had posted threathening post on sueing before, but he requested some moderator to remove it because the thread he posted backfired. So reefers becareful of wat you post or else this serial no.1 can sue you. WILL HE?
  16. Hi, Dont think this is a scam. He is also selling some stuff with the oher nick and amongst them is a ATI BM. Cheers
  17. Eh. i'm jus curious. If it can be rejuvinated with table salt (i presumed mixed with water). Isn't the water in our tanks salt water??? Ain't you rejuvenating it all this while?? Rod
  18. This is really interesting. ATI BM versus Deltec. Hope this is not another test to "put down" some brand but a genuine test to enlighten reefers. Rod
  19. Hmmm some colour is starting to show.
  20. Hi, i've been following the thread since the begining and i find that your review is quite good till now. However i find that you are contradicting yourself with this post. Earlier you posted But now you are slamming the skimmer design! I've personally saw and touched the skimmer at AM, i must say removing the collection cup is a breeze when compared to the skimmers you mentioned. Rod
  21. Hi, Are you using gravity feed for the top-up? Great tank and BIG too.
  22. ooOhh! So did you witness the effect of the dimming, looks real good. Happen to be at AM, when a guy was testing the effect.
  23. Are you using the Dimmable Power Modul too???
