I have read through the replies by fellow reefers and I would like to add my comments. I understand your concerns but why doubt before BH even started.
I believed BH's teachers would be in a better position to decide if they have enough fund to support the set up. I think there is no issue here. The next thing that trouble me is, why can't such research be carried out at the secondary school level? This is a kind of introductory stage. Time has changed. Teenagers now are more sophisticated than our time. In this case, he is using his resources in something constructive.
Why do you think BH posted this? he is appealing for assistant from you reefers.
Let's stop the cold blanket and start giving substantial comments like those of damien and giantbicycle.
BH give your best and show us what you are worth.

wow my salute to you.
-
glad it's nothing serious. rest well

you can try feeding them sotong also. I realised my picasso loves sotong when I was feeding my anemones, it kept stealing from my smaller sebae. it is quite smart of him not to get stung in the process now, i prepare his portion as well when i feed the anemones.
Bro rapalla, do update us on your Bursa trigger. I am thinking of adding another in. anyway if it gets too aggressive, I might just set up anpther tank for triggers only and see them fight day and night . oh then i will have to get ready a hospital tank
-
i have four anemones in my 3 feet for about 3 months liao, so far no problem.
-
was at pasir ris this evening. lots of yellow tang at Iwarna and I-aquarium.
-
i just took a metre long of stiff wire.. slowly just lure it to the open.. then poke it thru the body.. move it to the edge use scissors to cut it into half..
wow, yi dao jian xue....

yo bro zorden can try the fishing method. happy fishing
thanks desbug13 for your suggestion
-
yo brother,
remember my thread on trigger killing mantis? one of the fellow reefer suggested hog fish. after reading through the link on wrasses, i reckon both should be the same type that your uncle and iori_del are talking about.
-
wow, you frighten me, i thought u T L with me for asking about your powder black tang. sorry didn't mean to bug u, but i need to know whether to wait for you sms on saturday. just sms me when u have made a decision. thanks. my hp is 97415014.
i steady steady won't accuse u of anything
-
why don't you have this as a trigger tank? so u don't have to spend time catching the crab and the mantis shrimp. and there are beautiful and interesting trigger fish around.
the mantis shrimp in my tank really no sign liao, also no new victim. i stared at my tank until abt 'shoot bird' already.
-
you forgot the powder black??? are you still selling?
-
tong bing xiang lian still trying to locate the shrimp leh. no sign of it liao after the first sighting. hope it is in my trigger's tummy since that LR is just next to the trigger's room.
anyway, will get a hogfish as suggested by bro iori_del.
-
collection where? i am interested.
-
nevermind. will start searching this weekends. thanks

no lah...just very tired already
time to get on with other things in life now that the reef is established...
and time to mingle in mountain caves like the older reefbirds and gurus....
hi
flubberinal, your corals are really beautiful and sorry abt the recent incident.
i am new to this club and enjoy reading the posts here. I believe starting Singapore Reef Club and maintaining it not easy. This might be AT's brainchild but without senior reefers like you all, it will not be a success.
I hope the senior reefers don't give up and talk about retiring from the scene over such people. I feel sad reading such comments, I believe AT, the mods and other reefers will feel worse given all the effort put in.
let's try to improve this forum.
sorry, it's off topic.

welcome

dunno if i am right to say this, but it seems to me that the trigger also like human has its unique temper and character.
crossed my fingers first.
-
same same! i was there once and got TWO people copying down numbers... but never receive letter leh... not complaining
both of u so lucky. i kenna twice bus lane along enuos link turning into kakit bukit.
saw the TP but cos not on bike, i thought he was a foreign worker from India working at the construction site doing a survey %^&$(
fine total 260 and 6 demerit ponts or more cannot remember.
-
dun think about catchin it even with thick gloves...
IMO, not save
try your best to take out that piece of rock where he is staying...and kill him...catching it with bare hands seems suicidal (defintely injure yourself)
thanks for the tips. have read other threads regarding the hunting of this pest. still observing, making sure which rock it is hiding. so far, i only see one mantis shrimp.

hi bros
any of your triggers attacked any of your other fishes so far?
my picasso has been with me for two months, so far it has been a good boy. but many suggest that it may turn to its tank mate when it grows older.
your comment pls.
How do you import corals?
