  1. It feels tough. It started growing from the LR from a small stub into the massive size in the picture. Not sure about fragging though but can give it a try. The end parts are sort of curled.
  2. Last picture for now. Purple mushroom with blue dots. Any comments about my tank would be welcomed.
  3. Another unknown in my tank. Looks like some algae.
  4. Unknown coral that came together with the LR. It grew from 7 heads to this. Can anyone ID what it is?
  5. Still in the process of stocking corals. Plan to fill the tank with mushies. Picture of my red mushroom.
  6. Tank in blue actinic lighting. Will post more pictures tonight when the lights are on.

  8. yup, used the same nick so ppl would know its the same person. Actually to think of it, really weird to have a freshwater nick in a marine forum. My skimmer input is modified using pvc pipes and tubing instead of the plastic u-shape.
  9. Resized and sharpened the pic.
  10. Been monitoring the temp the whole night. It stayed at 29'C. So is 27.5-29 a big jump?
  11. Just got a profantec fan. Managed to cool the tank down from 30'C to 28'C (27'C lowest). The problem is that the tank is situated in my room and it makes alot of noise, that even my family members are complaining and couldn't sleep. Came back tonight to find that someone switched off my fan. So I was thinking, since I can barely sleep with all that noise on, would it be alright if I turn the fan off at night? My room temp is 30'C, tank temp now is 29'C Would 27.5'C - 29'C be too large of a fluctuation?
  12. Dont think it would be a good idea to split the return pump with your skimmer. I think it would cause a deficiency to the amount of water returning to the main tank. I've heard that its better to have a slightly higher pumper than stated to run the skimmer. So far my 2011 is producing 'essence of chicken' in my skimmer cup.
  13. Great pics you have there, no full tank shot?
  14. I have a question. What is that black rocket shaped thing that you connect directly to the night light electric pins? How do I extend the wires?
