any idea if its possible to fit double end MH bulbs in those aluminium light hood? I'm very afraid that the glass might explode btw is 70watts bulb common?

I'm thinking of DIY MH a normal hood with 2x 150watts 10000K cost $1700! looks like DIY can reduce the cost at least by half

I bought the tetra handle + 4 blades for $23 at superstar aquarium in pasir ris .. works real good

I got a very strong magnetic cleaner! but they are no match for those stubborn coralline algae

the probelm is .. the top of my tank is 5ft above ground, even if I stand on a chair .. I couldnt clean the glass unless there is a handle =( I'm thinking of buying tetra ones .. any idea how much the replacement blades cost?

you sure gillette blades wont scratch yr tank?

but wont normal blades scratch the glass?

Just to update you all on the LCK farms there are currently 2 LCK marine farms , 1 at neo tiew crescent blk 110 and the other at LCK lane 6 the LCK lane 6 is a very big farm .. similar to pacific marine .. everything is cheap there, the probelm is .. they dont really sell to the public.. you may need to get them to open the gate for you .. but once you are in there, you can buy anything you want

Hi Just wanna know where I can find those blades for cleaning off coralline algae from the glass? I saw the tetra ones at hong leong .. cost around $25 for the handle .. quite expensive ah
