My 2 cents.

 

1) Ah Beng (Geylang)

Bought fishes a few times but didn't make it. Feel that the fishes are not really well taken care of, and immunity is low. Tanks always have sick fishes.

Prices are very competitive, in fact, one of the lowest.

 

2) Pinnacle (Tampines)

 Tanks are cleaner than Ah Beng. Shop environment better than Ah Beng.

Fishes are better taken care of.

Boss is approachable and offers advice z However, an uncle staff there is not very friendly and approachable. Do not like to entertain questions and can be a little sarcastic.

 

3) Iwarna (Pasir Ris)

Wide variety. Constant updating on FB which is good. Prices are competitive.

Tevin and Jun Kai are knowledgeable, friendly and offers good advice.

Fishes are generally in good health because of their copper system.

Environment not as comfortable as the rest but still ok. 

 

4) Specialised Aquatics (Bukit Timah)

Prices are the steepest.

However , fishes are very well taken care of. In fact, the best amongst the 4.

Environment, also the best, most comfortable and cleanest amongst the four.

Staff are very friendly.

Pay a premium for the fishes.
