Just spoken to some tanks makers they told me they are using black metal rod or either tier metal iron rod those u see at fish shops but they said no matter how much u coat outsdie it will still rust insdie and it will crash in time to come like a year or 2
can anyone advise me on this ??
AT how long did ur metal stand last ? and what was the size of the tank ?

hi may i just ask erm i am okie with FL and PL but i am confuse with MH = metal halide & Iwasaki bulbs . Are these twos MH & Iwasaki bulbs two different equipments? ..
Also how do we know erm when to use what types of lights ?
Also what impact does it do with the different in watt ? correct me if i am wrong the higher the 10000k example to 20000k means the whiter the lights are right? if so what about the watt?
i am planning on getting a 4ft by 2ft by 2ft tank but not sure about a chiller
Can i use lighting systems for the start with dont need a chiller ? i will also keep corals and stuff that wont need so much lighting ? thank you

do u think there is much different between a 3ft and a 4ft sorry if it sound silly.
also erm by drilling a hole for an internal flow system ? will the hole affect the tank in time (i heard it will) so external over will be better?
anyone tried keeping a 3ft tank without using MH light?
as i think when u use MH light a chiller is a must

It was a FW plant tank but he change it into a Marine tank . Was a 4 feet tank with 2x MH light and basic stuff like chiller , skimmer , sump ... etc
Much of this stuff is DIY and the best part it dont look like a DIY product *he should make more i am sure people will buy*
But as what he told me he just got it runnning and have not really decided to stock it up to the max yet . Last i saw was 4 blue tangs and a madrin fish
But he is sure nice and patient to explain stuff and show a feeding session *thumb up*

Hi just wondering if the metal stand for 3feet above tanks isit stable and will it be corroded *Sob*
is there any types of paint we can use to paint it over 1st ? to server as a protection against salt water .
i was also wondering do u think itis nicer if a large plastic cover is use to cover the front and left/right sides of the metal stand rather then leaving it expose . But the plastic covers will be sprayed black to add colour
