I have the same problem as u and the skimmer doesnt foam all the time. Some advice was to connect a air pump into the air inlet to aid the skimmer. have not tried it myself though...

Hi all, does the sand in your fish tank gets dirty?Any reason why? how to clean it?

Just added some live rocks and realised that there are some white dots on the tank especially in the morning. When the light is on, these white dots just drop off into the sand. They also seem to be alive. How do I get rid of these little Dots??

Where can I get this sicce extrema pump? anyone able to give an estimated cost? hmm ok so it seems like I have to change my pump.... it's been around a week and it has been behaving like an expensive bubble making machine...gosh

Hi Here it is... There's bubbles. lots of them, small ones too but they just dont foam on top i.e. make white foam at the top. My skimmer is new just a couple of days old. JS-150 skimmer. http://www.aqua-macro.com/skimmer.htm

I am having some problems with my new macro skimmer too... just started using it yesterday evening (16 Aug Monday) and there is not even any bit of foam yet... perhaps something I did wrong?

Hi Just bot a Macro Skimmer. It has been on for a night and up to now but the foam is still not forming. How? is it suppose to be like that?
