  6. Hi, I have a variety of mushies; electric green hairy, bullseye hairy, bali green, yuma which i would like to sell or trade for pink/orange Ricordea florida. They are all at least 5cm in diameter with some up to 10cm when open up. I have pics but don't know how to post. If you would like to buy, PM me with what u want and your offer price (be reasonable, at least close to market price). thanks.
  7. I read the webpage further it says the membrane can purify up to 1,000L of water or 260gal. I guess if your tank is about 2 - 3 ft, it'll be sufficient???
  8. on the other hand....I'm curious....why wouldn't one just buy one of these? http://www.hyflux.com/pdt_gurgle.html
  9. If anyone wants to buy the fine plastic mesh from me, let me know. I bought a packet the other day but decided not to go with plenum system.
  10. Mine's always at 25. my LPS is doing ok...surely these xenias aren't as fussy as LPS.
  11. I've heard xenias becoming a pest in people's tanks. But I'm not sure why I've never had luck with these guys.....this is my 5th try after a long wait. It doesn't look that good...tentacles not extended and look very flaccid. what's the secret to keeping xenias?
  12. whoa......that's a lot of dough..... which brand test kit were you using. I'll avoid that brand.
  13. May&Bruce, does it cost anything to get water tested by an expert? Would like to test the water in my area. Thanks.
  14. what is that supposed to mean yah? i need help not this:
  15. I threw away the needlewheel pump already. can i just use a normal pump....doesnt have to have a needlewheel right. as long as the pump got venturi function.
  16. Its natural for sand to bind when bateria is established. but i don't think it'll be like a rock
  17. could some pls tell me what pumps i could replace with if my needlewheel pump is broken for my Macro skimmer? don't think i'll ever buy 2nd hand again after this 'incident'...
  18. really? wished i'd known this earlier.... looks like mine is going to starve to death. what's its fav food?
  19. I bought a Coral Beauty 1 week ago. But it's still very shy...don't want to come out. Is it common for coral beauty to be so shy?
  20. good...hope more people harvest rics...so can drive the price down.
  21. $90 just for the pump? i think i'll rather just buy a weipro skimmer. given the experience with macro, not sure if it'll make a diff.
