here's a separate batch of prawns.
they're separate because i took the pictures at different times. some of the pictures are from my last batch of fish food. i usually buy whatever is the cheapest at the supermarket. no way my fishes are going to snack on better stuff than me

hey guys,
i made a fresh new batch of fish food today. here's a picture guide to how i did it. its actually very simple, but require about half an hour to 45 mins to whip it up.
to prevent any misunderstanding, let me just say from the start that im not selling the fish food. its for my own use. also, if anyone has any advise or pictures to add, please feel free to do so. any tips or ideas are very much appreciated.
First, the ingredients
1) Prawn, shelled, about size of 2 can drinks

hi all,
im selling my volitan for $15 (i bought it at $15 when it was a baby). been with me for quite some time. coloring is reddish brown, quite nice as i have been feeding it dried cyclopeeze packed into prawns. beautiful fins, and not shy about flaring them at people. very alert and responsive, and likes to swim in the open. size is approx. 5~6".
its weaned off live feed, and feeding on just about anything you care to dump in the tank - prawns, homemade fishfood, lumped up pellets, etc.

woah, cirrus, it's chim man. i have no idea how you do that. i wonder how the bots keep registering new nicks. maybe sgreefclub can apply those handwritten crooked letterings that help to confirm that the new user is not a bot. this particular one seems to be from netfirms.com. every letter of the 'you have a private message' is a different spammy link to netfirms.

cirrus, its another spam, the underlines are to hide the spammy links. lots of freakin spam from bots these past few months. im not saying anything, but i recall it started right around the time another local fish forum was created.

yep, no need to be so sensitive bro. no one is mentioning your product (other than hammy's post) except yourself. i have to say that newer pics will really help us see your tank better. the two pics just seem show a bleached gonio and algae infested background.

anyway, its a really sweet tank. love the sea fan centerpiece. the cabinet's finishing is really classy too. plus the hood and trimmings are rounded...always a nice touch. i really like the lamp on your tv console as well.

We have often seen pictures of beautiful fishes and corals posted by fellow members, but so far I have yet to see the actual aquarium as a decor piece. Would love to see the ideas and designs of SG reefers' tanks for their homes.

yeah, warn everyone about this bunghole. identify him and his address. i remember roidan highlighted a particular idiot awhile back. even provided a picture of his block circled in red. might seem a little drastic, but you can't deny that its a dang good warning.
there will always be newbies in this hobby, which would mean more fodder for the dipstick without good advice. i say go ahead and play the shame game. even AT has given his implicit/tacit/implied agreement

mine is a 3 feet tank with a radiata and a volitan. right now i have a blue devil, a 3 stripe and a 3 spot. the lions love to hunt the damsels, so they are very well behaved.
they have eaten about 10+ damsels, a small algae blenny and 2 shrimps so far. still not successful in weaning them off live feed. its kinda expensive since the volitan can eat around 3 smallish damsels at one go.
for what its worth, it might be a good idea to get volitans. mine loves to swim out in the open. the radiata is definitely likes to hide in the rocks.

wow, thanks for the tip. i will pay a visit to ah beng real soon. im trying to wean the lions of live feed, but no luck so far. the remaining damsels in my tank now are very well behaved, as they live in the valley of the shadow of death.
the weird thing is that my cleaner shrimp keeps trying to clean the 2 lions. and they let him. shrimps have very big ballz

hi guys,
im looking to sell my rio 20hf at $70. bought it about 2 months ago for $85. i've been using it for 2 months to run my skimmer, but it seems a little under powered for an aquac 240.
condition is very good. comes with the box and all the misc. parts. selling it coz im planning to change into a rio 32.
