Guys, currently using 11wtt & 13wtt PL light for my PICO, now i've been searching a blue tube to replace either one of them but very difficult to find.... from Aquastar to Petmart... some more my PL tube is the shorter in size too.... U all know where can i get a blue tube... : (

Yap, you can proceed to use distilled water... but however you must stablize it with necessary supplement such as trace element etc.... another choice you can try natural sea water at LFS... i can say they have the natural best element for your water to be in good condition.

Firstly do you have a sump? or just an IOS system...? if you have a sump most prob either you can go for using livesand/coralchips (plenum) or liverocks, instead of the bioballs... i used to have an IOS system for my 2ft.... i only used coral chips for the filter media.... the water condition was good. : ) happy reefing

Hmmm... i encounter the same experience.... they seems to be territorial. Months back i bought 2 copperband... the sailfin give a chase and even peck at the poor fish.... too late now the both copperband RIP... : (
