  5. ya, roller cutter firmly along a ruler on where you want to cut. then snap it with the edge of the plank which has to be longer than the cut line on the glass.

  7. for even lazier ppl, get one that doesnt require feeding at all.....
  8. i heard if you use NSW may be its possible. not very sure... hehe....
  9. thanks your advice, DB and Robe. all i need is black silicon actually. any other brand can do the job. tank maker said Wacker will cos me only abt 50dollars. i thought of using DC cos it seems like many reefers here and in RC are using it and wrote good comments in their tank thread. however, there are bros whose tank had leaked also seemed to have used it. i'm so confused......
  10. my tanker doesnt have the above silicon which i plan to use for my new tank. he say if i intend to use it, i'll have to supply him with it. otherwise he'll substitute it with a wacker brand silicon. does anyone know where i can get the DC795 and roughly how much is it. i need to supply him with 6-8tubes..
  11. i'm very excited too. it'd be great if you could show us pics of each stage of your setup.. i like your idea of not putting any piece of equipment in the tank; makes your tank gives a clean and more natural look . but after reading the thread on the RC tank accident, i think you have to be a bit more careful when DIYing your stand and fixing the bulkheads. a crack or a leak at the bottom will drain the all the water from your tank.. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthre...threadid=531525
  12. i thought they like it.......i actually clipped one strip of 3 to the tank the they finished it in less than 1min...... another reason i use this is that i dont have to cut it since it comes in strips. dont have to refrigerate also. more convenient. but since the flavoring can detrimental to their health, i'll try look for other alternatives. like the one posted by bro pegasus1010 i want my fish to be healthy too/...
  13. i got 1 big packet of this. leftovers from CNY. wondering if i could use this to feed my tangs when my Julian Sprungs Veggies green seaweed run out.
  14. thanks for ur suggestion and advice, i juz got a scraper from petmart b4 i got to read your reply. initially was worried abt the metal blade scratching my glass. but to my surprise it didn't and works wonders. combine it with my magnetic clean, no more algae on my glass and no more dipping my whole arm into the water. i'll go for a taller tank too...

  16. sorry, i meant the cross reference idea. but posting a pic would be good too....
  17. i support mantis' idea abt posting a pic of the tank made from that tank maker, to show its workmanship. because i think the quality of the tank is very impt when considering to buy one.
  18. i'm not a diver, but at 52 feet depth, need to decompress or not if they send someone down to clean...
