    You manage to catch them?

    What I did was to put their favourite staghorn into a clear plastic bag with the opening in their view. Good thing the staghorn has not been encrust onto the rock.

    After an hour+, they decided to go back to that Staghorn and that how I manage to "trap" them.

    oh... i took the whole tabletop midway near to the water surface. place my fish net below of the table top (the fella still stay with the table top, didnt escape). bring the table top n net together out from water... (and this fella remain in the net)! :evil:

    iantoh, i agree with u. this thread is mainly focus on can T5 keep sps in long term? not on which T5 tube is better or which type is lousy.

    and even me, myself is using Aquaz HO T5 tube b4. yes! I have acceptable growth rate. i can frag my table top 1-2 times a month. juz e lifespan for this tube is abit short... thats y I switch to others.

    so, lets get back to the topic. :lol:

    :heh: hi! nice to hear another 1 get into sps.

    actually, time frame doesnt really important. even if u r keeping reef tank for 10 or 20 years but never learn fr mistake..... then u r stepping at the same place only. :lol:

    althought sps is hard to keep, but with some knowledge & experience, u might able to keep a very successful sps tank.

    we have alots of info over the internet, do more reading, make more research, ask more questions.... then u will learn alots of things. looks on those who r success in sps tank, learn fr their experience. :lol:

    for a sps tank you will need alots of light, becoz sps love light n especially MH. with HO T5 u can keep some sps too, but for shallow tank will recommanded, try to take a look at Danano's tank :evil: . MH is a good choice too.

    sps need a very stable water paramemter like sal, temp, ph, no2 & no3, po4,ca, mg, kh.... etc etc! clean water with lots of water current to blow off waste, slime... etc etc... predator oso need to b take concern or u might pulling ur hair.... :D j/king.

    ask for some small frag for u to learn & gain more experience 1st.... then u can b an expert!

    im not an expert in sps, im still learning fr others, wat im typing here is juz my opinion. hoping im able to clear ur mind! n never stop learning.....

    ahh btw , are those commercial epoxy safe to use in marine tank ? i mean those that we can get from GIANT/makro hypermart , or hardware shop ..

    cos i'm goin to glue some of the yumas on a piece of big rock :D

    i dun think epoxy able to hold mushroom lor. normally i will place it at my sump which is low flow with some small rock for it to stick itself on it.
