  1. but we need coral glue to stick it with Reef Plugs woh. Quite troublesome also if those glue and plugs didnt found at LFS. hehe!!

Remember, Save a Coral in the sea, Growth them from ur tank.....

Remember to use a sharp equipment to cut it, else you will hurt more it's wound....

Currently i propograte my LPS now. Later will try SPS...

u r propogate ur lps??? sure? branch type or wat???

  2. I just skimmed read through that article last night.. I didn't catch this para,

"If you can catch the fish, the isopod may be removed with a pair of forceps. Carefully!!! Upon removal, the fish should be isolated in a hospital tank, and treated with antibiotics until the wound heals. The bug may be disposed of. Carefully!!! About 15 years ago, I had a student who was holding in her clenched hand a 1.5 inch long Aegid. The bug cut through the flesh of her palm, dug in, and started to eat HER. Her vocal response was rather impressive. So was the tenacity of the isopod, it was HARD to remove! "

    Now I know........................ scary!

    Thanks!! :peace:

    welcome...

  3. :thanks: for all the info, guys!

When I went back last evening, I found out that my fish trap did not work. <_<

However, I also realized that the isopod is no longer on my Fire Fish. Think it fell off the fish after it had its "feed".

Is there a way to kill these isopods in the tank? Perhaps a solution I can buy from the LFS to add into my tank, w/o harming my fishes/corals/sponges?

they will only appear at the morning when u juz turn on the light.

i got no idea on others solution.

b caution when handing this alien (no bare hand pls)! ;)

    all e best!! :peace:B)

  5. i advice you don't buy anemone...recipe for disaster in my opinion.

many keep clown without anemone. and my clown digs just like yours...just let it be

saw that you added damsel.... :) ...beware of these notorious "gangsters"...soon you will see their true colours...

don't mind i ask u did you cycle your tank?....has your tank gone through the ANN or ammonia, nitrite and nitrate cycle?

i agreed with bro "shoelevy". is better not to keep anemone. coz they r high demand! wish u all the best... ;)
