  1. Thanks vincent, Your tank has been one of my inspiration too!
  2. Gouldian, Your tank is very beautiful and your corals and fish too!. Cheers to you for giving them a good home! PS: I think I can sit infront of it looking at them whole day!
  3. Managed to get some pic for the LS, only the slow moving ones. I will try to borrow a better camera for the fish later and post here. My red sea star, got 2 of them, very cute! My ladies favorite!
  4. Thanks bro, to minimise food from touching the bottom, I feed very little, enough for the fish to eat in 5 minutes or so. I also cut off all pumps while feeding. Usually only little food is left uneaten. I think I really feed too little?
  5. Bought these yelloe polyps from AM. They were doing very well until I shifted them to a low flow area. Lost quite a few polyps. Now I shifted it back to where it once were and hoping for some miracle.
  6. Zoo from bro ryz. FOC with purchase of LR. They are beautiful, aren't they?
  7. Yumas from Diabolus too. Boy, I really got a lot of stuff from you bro Dia! Good stuff!
  8. Bro, I will like to agree with you but somehow I see the flow is very great already. There is one more opening beside the overflow for water circulation. See the white opening at the back of the tank?
  9. I think this came from a LR that I bought from Diabolus! Thanks to bro Moxa for selling some LR to me when he had booked all and even allow me to take first! I owe you one bro Moxa! I think it is a mushroom. Not too sure, Can some bro ID for me?
  10. Another coral from bro Diabolus - Octopus.
  11. I am using SEIO 620. I had initially bought a used 820 but still too strong, blowing until my jewel cannot take it so sold off and bought a 620 instead. Seems ok I think? You think so too?
  12. Hi bro, I only check for NO3 and not NH3 and No2 (no $$ to buy so many test kits) and the reading is <10 ppm
  13. Thanks bro for your advice. Yes I am tracking the water parameter weekly and trying to resist from overstocking. Sometimes I stop and think am I working for the tank or is the aqquarium suppose to bring joy and relaxation for me? Anyway, if the aquarium and the LS inside are well, I believe this is where I derive my satisfaction from! Cheers
  14. No lah, he is actively in the hobby and doing very well. He was just clearing some space then! As for me, I have gotten myself a friend and some good deals!
  15. Moon coral from bro Diabolus, So sad I place it too near the Octopus and left side slightly stunk by it.
  16. Another piece from bro Rusty, brown star polyps.
  17. Green mushrooms on LR from Rusty.
  18. Sorry, forgot to attach the picture. Here it is.. leather.
  19. Leather from Rusty, also my neighbour in Punggol! Very nice chap! Beautiful tank he has also!
  20. Green prata from Sugi also! Begining to be my most interesting coral! I like to feed the pellet food to my fish by dropping them above the water surface directly above the prata. This fellow will curl up and eat the food! Consider target feeding?
  21. Flower pot, I think, got from Sugi, my neighbour in Punggol! Sugi's got a POWER setup! All should see his!
  22. Thanks, the first 3 corals I got from Har****** @ somewher near Lavender street. Long time never go ther liao! The rest of the corals are from fellow reefers. I will come to them soon!
  23. Oh, sorry that the picture you may not see any fish. The fish that I have are all very small ones. They are, Scooter Blenny (X2 - 1 big and 1 small) 1 Algae blenny 1 yellow strip maroon clown 1 blue streak goby 1 brown dot hawkfish 1 fire goby 2 chromis Wanted to try out smaller fish and get them used to the environment before introducing the bigger ones. However, currently I am quite happy with them only. With the construct of my tank, I do not want to have high bioload and then stuck with nitrate problems lah. Something I learnt from SRC! BTW, I only feed them once a day after work with Ocean nutrtion flake and pellet food (thanks to Goldian's advice). Phytoplanthon and zoo planthons on alternate days for the corals. Hope I am not starving them!
  24. Bought the tank in Nov 04, cycle with NSW for 2 weeks, started to buy 2 corals and 4 fish after the 2 weeks of cycling. That make amy tank to be about 3 months old, roughly.
  25. Thanks for the compliment. Actually I think I anyhow do one! I just stack them up. All in all, I bought the LRs in 3 batches!
