Yes, I do agree that there has and always will be nonsense buyers and sellers. This is unforunately "Facts of life"!
With each sale, we can grow and be more "street-smart".
However, I do not agree this has got something to with age-group. I had personally deal with sellers from teens to older gentlemen and I must say the teens are just as professional!
IMO, don't mix "nonsense" buyers or sellers with with age group. It is not fair to discriminate this way.
It is just my opinion.

Where is the location for collection?

William shared an unique way of identifying good healthy, corals - By smelling. Smells rotting = no good. I think this works for me too!
Look at the color, smell as well as the tank where it house the corals before buying.
-
not totally the LFS fault, the fault should be pointed to the product not the LFS. so i hope that you can edit your post again biggrin.gif .secondly will already agreed that no ill talks about LFS thanx.gif
Agreed on this. Take it as my ignorance. Sorry about this.

Just to let everyone know about the lusy brand. It is a Japanese brand, lots of Japanese words, can only read Special Red, Special food for MARINE FISH. bought from the R***B*W, the LFS beside PET*M**T. Realized now that it is a lousy place to go, got nice display tank though. Near my working place, now only go to PET*M**T!

Welcome to the club! I trust that you will be very much blessed just like what I am!

Anyone has a picture to show? How does a fox-face looks like?
-
This was bought a few weeks back. Didn't check propoerly, I think no seal! Only 1 type then in that LFS! Too eager to buy then!
Will check the brand again when I get home tonight! When I get back tonight, must throw it away also! Yucks!!!

LS means Live Stock ie your corals, fish etc. You can find a list of acronyms and what they mean in the forum too! I was blur blur until I read it!
There is a lot of discussion on water change in SRC. You can try doing a search on it here.
IMO,Having a good skimmer, lessen feeding and water change will help.
As for test kits, make sure that the instructions for doing the tests were followed closely, like shake the mixture after mixing etc. I use Tetra test kit for nitrate as well. Looks OK for me so far.

Anyone in SRC wants to donate her pantyhose?
-
Saw some small bugs in my pellet food. Is it spoilt already? Did not see any expiry dates on the container.
-
I have some in my tank too! I had posted similar kind of questions and the replies see

Thanks bros, this is indeed a lesson that I probably may not learn from books! Cheers!

That part that you marked out is indeed the skeleton. The "smoke" is the cloudy portion to the right of the marked out section.
-
When I got it this afternoon, it already has got some bleaching and now it seems to be expeling zoos and look limp. The other hammers and frogspawn are doing well in my tank. Do you think this one has got a good chance of survival? Is it more advisable to remove it now or risk spreading to my other healthy ones?

What does the second senario do?
-
-
I will dump the crab as well. As for the shrimp, I will keep it.
-
Yes, I think that is very true indeed! I had actually tried to restict its movement by placing it in a "cove" with a small opening so as to make it stay there but it actually bloat and moved out of it! Very clever indeed.
Its long tentacles are causing it to move very much also. How to "keep" it in one location?
