  1. OK, finally for some update.

Gave all my LPS away and kept a few softies and all set for FOWLR.

Got a few new fish to join the exiting ones.

Firstly a full tank shot.

Got new lights. My fish were happy as finally the sun comes outs again for them! "Finally can see what we are eating. Got appetite now!" :D

  2. Bro Earth,

I think if I am not wrong, bro b2toh is selling his remora pro in pasar malam for $190 with pumo. Not sure if it is still available. Hurry, do a search and contact him lah. Yes, in SG, only eaquanature is selling new ones and you need to wait for 2 weeks for delivery.

No problem bro, cool, I think with FOWLR, your tank should be ok with a bit of modifications. Many bros here will help you, just shoot your questions.

  3. Yah, looks like no problem for remora. Maybe I will show you how I hook up my remora later here when I get a pic of it.

Nice view you have from your window. :D

Bro, don't loose heart. if you intend to keep your setup simple, I think it is still viable.

What are your plans for this tank? FOWLR or mixed reef? Options may be limited but I am sure you can still work this out.

There are many reefers in Sengkang and Punggol. Try pm those near your house, surely someone will help you. Hint: Try M**v*n T*n, I heard he is very helpful.

  4. Hi kokhui,

Using the Ocean Nutrition brown marine algae. My YT loves it, as do my percs who take the occasional nip at it and my coral beauty (wierd huh...the greedy pigs!).

    Thanks daimy086,

Yah bought the brown one and as what you said, my tangs and angels love them!

I also tried the NTUC type but they "dissolve" too fast and not too suitable.

Also tried the purple type and the small pieces float away from my clip and pvc tube too fast.

Looks like I will stick to the ocean nutrition types.

Anyone tried some live algae like red algae that I saw selling in LFS?

  5. I read from the forum that Aqua C Remora may be able to fit in. Heard that it is good, any comments?

Yes bro, AquaC Remora is good and probably suitable for you since you need one that operates without the usual sump. I am using one in my setup.

Saw someone selling the Remora Pro for a steal couple of days back in pasar malam. Hurry bro! :D

    A pic of your setup?

  7. Be patient! What we saw was only the tip of a big iceberg. Everything will be "surface" and taken care of systematically. Just wait and see. What had happened is only the prelude of more to come.

Somehow I am quite scptical about this, bro. Will the truth really be out and that NKF get more backlash from the public? Will the "garment" really allow this to happen? :whistle

Will the truth really be out without any censorship? Time will tell. :fear:

  9. Gobies are smaller fishes and thus you will then to feed less and they poo less thus less bio load. However still there are so many types of gobies, many of them require different type of living environment.

I gave up on fire gobies as they are very good jumpers. My previous 2 fire gobies jumped out of the tank which have bigger fish (tangs and angels). They are pretty shy fellow.

You may want to read more on their nature and natural habitat. Bon chance! ;)
