  1. Attached are some zoas photo...

    Law,

the dragon eye at IMG_0848 is I get from u last time...remember e skirting was lime green and center more orange...

I changed my lighting tube 3 months ago...

I read online that the guideline for lighting is minimum 3W per gallons...i only using T5, 4x39W for my 3x2x2 ...

so i suspect my lighting is not sufficient...what do u guys think?

    :ThanxSmiley:

    hi engseng,

tts eagle eye, not the dragon.

i believe not enough light and ur nutrient level is high. got chiller?

you can try shifting them higher.

  2. Thanks Law, you are very kind. My mum is fine, doing regular check up. Age catching up. Similar, you are one of the most welcome and all frag willbe FOC if you like. Hihi.

    Hi filial ahlee,

i am exceptionally glad to hear that your mum is well.

and thanks for the offer, im very pleased to have you having the intention.

the intention alone is enough. :friends:

i have got some new collections, do check out my thread or drop by, welcome to make specific orders to it. i will make it happen for both you and CF foc.

btw, rescape means tank instability again so must as well just upgrade to a bigger tank. hehe, just kidding though

to me, scaping are more or less quite similar after you place the corals over them and to be honest with you, i find your scaping with corals being gorgeous.

through the video, it worth my vote of 5 stars already.

  3. like what lemon suggested, they do contain some toxic. some of these byproducts are even used for anti-cancer drugs.

that being said, wear proper gears while handling them, especially during fragging. avoid them during open wounds and towards the eyes. i have a friend that his eyes got infected bad from the "juice" of paly while fragging them.

so take note on that for the eyes.

and when zoa dies, they simply melt off. so far when some of my zoa dies, my other soft, LPS and SPS corals are not affected. but take note that different tank got different type of "event/chain-reaction"

in conclusion, it is very safe to own zoas but not safe to the eyes while fragging.

  4. could be due to many reasons.

best to provide a pic for us to see what kind of zoas it is before i could comment more.

but one major issue with brown is light, most occasions in my experience are due to intensity and spectrum difference from where its harvested.

that being said, its pretty hard to solve that issue especially on spectrum problem.
