  1. Bro lizard44, I have just added 3 teaspoon of sugar on Sunday afternoon, I was woken by my family this morning at 6.30am, telling me that my tank is so cloudy that we could not see the fish....almost worry to death for those LS.......but after reading tat this will happened (did not know why it took so long to take effect..the cloudiness)...now at this current time, the water is starting to clear :P

Should I continue to dose 3 teaspoon or lessen? Will the cloudiness come back? How long should I do it, since my NO3 reading is 25mg/l?

    Appreciate your advice. :thanks:

  2. Hi Bro dtaytc, T95 is way before the prata shop, it is the road going from the place where they sell plant outside the road. The LFS is good and cheap for corals and Anemone, compare to other LFS.

But since so many brothers out there have sent cautious sign, I think you better think twice. After all, my Anemone is 1+ month old. Hope it will not "up the lorry".

Beside, my NO3 has go down to 25ppm...."heng ah" but still need to work on to reduce it.

  3. I have a sump with Coral Chips and also running Canister...but there are still lots of floating particles in the tank...dun things Canister can do miracle.

I dun really bother about the "things" floating...as long the NO3 is 0, PH is 8.3 and water is clean n not "milky", who care abt those things...

If you really want to clear, change water and stop the water/pump flow for a couple of days and the "things" will subside onto your sandbed.

  4. Just top up the water in the sump with new SW... After skimming for a few hours, you are ready to connect the main tank to sump. BTW, if you are running chiller, than it is a different case. Need to ensure Main Tank water and the Sump water dun hv too much temp diff.

It is great to add a Refugium, but yours is too small to make any diff..but still great.

  5. Great job bro lizard44, with your "invention", many bro here can start reefing with low cost, not no cost....:)

This will help us to upkeep our tank with more corals and fish, rather than buying all those expensive additives....

Keep up the good work and keep us posted with your invention. I will start dosing my tank with sugar....

    Cheers...:))

  6. Hi bro marble, mine dun run from light, although it moved around, I will tried my best to place it back on the center tank. Once it like it, it will nvr moved. If there is a clown, chances of it stay foot is greater.

    Happy Anemoning.....:))

  7. Hi bro tineng, I have kept my Anemone for more than 1 month....although it had been stress for a couple of time, it still grow well.

My water NO3 is 50ppm...light on for 2-3hr per day.

The Anemone always open and clown fish love it very much.

Hi bro veliferium, everything in the world is not easy, but that doesn't mean we cannot try.

Hi bro dtaytc, what you need to be careful is that if you see the base is rotten or there is white things coming out from the center(mouth), you need to take it out of your tank. If you want one, you can get a good one from Supreme Aquarium T-95, Seletar West Farmway 1 64823083.

After all, breeding everything take risk and care. Good Luck.
